Has Lady Gaga finally taken things too far? Singer is slammed by disability groups after performing on stage in a wheelchair

I think people in wheelchairs or disabled people should decide if Lady Gaga has gone too far.
 
Love the picture estesbob!!

What really gets me is how she claims to be Catholic. I just wonder what her perception of a Catholic is. She went to Catholic school all her life… you would think she would know whether or not her actions lend themselves in agreement with the Catholic faith.

She sure is interesting, that’s for sure!!

I can she why people may not be a fan of her work, but I think she she’s an amazing artist and an advertising genius…she gets herself out there like no one else.

She obviously has a lot of talent because wearing odd clothes and acting strange does not guarantee one commercial success-. If so, I would’ve been a billionaire by the time I was 15.🙂

I am not sure she still claims to be a practicing Catholic, but it is obvious she was baptized, confirmed and received first Communion. . It is very, very difficult to enter the profession. She has chosen and remain true to the faith. Anne Hathaway is another example-devout Catholic in her youth, rejecting the church when she could not reconcile her faith with the cultural mores of the industry she works in

Actually Anne Hathaway rejected her Catholic faith because her brother is gay and she couldn’t reconcile that with the Church.

As I said she rejected her Catholic faith because he could not reconcile it with the mores of the industry shes in. . The really sad part is the best hope her brother has for eternal salvation is the Catholic Church and rather than pray for him and lovingly confront him she rejected her faith, affirming his sin and putting her own soul at risk.-. A perfect example of how one persons sin can imperil so many others

Actually, she was on the View a few weeks ago and claimed to be Catholic presently. She is obviosly not a practicing Catholic, that’s what gets me.

I think nowadays by saying “I’m a Catholic” or “I’m a Methodist” is just as much about identity as whether you actually believe or are currently practicing.

I’m disabled and it doesn’t bother me a bit. I’m certainly not a fan of hers but if she wants to shock me she’d have to try a lot harder than that.

You must know her a lot better than me. All I see is her publicity so I have no idea if she is or isn’t a practicing Catholic.

I don’t see this to be an attempt at being shocking, but more of a performance art piece. I’m curious what songs she sang while in a wheelchair.

Full front pics of Gaga in a mermaid get-up in a wheel chair? I didn’t see the “offending” piece. Did she show too much fin?
