Well, think about it. She is the Mother of God…yet She is not God. Meaning She has to be married to God…because God would not never call Her again.

If a non catholic tells me there has been a time where she has, I would look into it the same way I look into the catholic claims that she did. I think this is yet another reason to reject some of the apparitions. If there ever was a time for an apparition to come to any people, it would have been at the Great Schism.

But you deeply misunderstand the miracle of the Holy Fire…the Holy Sepulchre has always been since the beginning of the Church located within the Patriarchate of Jeruselem which was founded by St. James which has always been an Orthodox Patriarchate - the only Patriarchate which is Catholic is Rome and they broke away from Orthodoxy officially in 1054 ad.

You will see this is not a Catholic Miracle in any sense.
The Catholics and Orthodox celebrate Easter/Holy Pascha on different dates due to a different dating system used. Orthodoxy maintains the original dating method which the Church of Rome changed it hundreds of years ago.
Why does the date of Easter matter? Well because this Holy Fire Miracle happens only once a year on Holy Saturday (day before Easter/Holy Pascha) - since the dates of Easter differ, so does the date of Holy Saturday & the Holy Fire Miracle happens only on the Orthodox Holy Saturday not on the Catholic Holy Saturday.
Also you will see that Catholics twice during the Turkish Occupation paid the authorities to prevent the Orthodox Patriarch from going into the Sepulchre on Holy Saturday so they could send in a Catholic instead to get the miracle; however, the miracle didn’t come to them.
The Armenians also tried that once and failed too.
"Every time heterodox have tried to obtain the Holy Fire they have failed. Three such attempts are known. Two occured in the twelfth century when priests of the Roman church tried to force out the Orthodox church but by their own confession these ended with God’s punishment. Except when the dates do in fact co-inside. Even though there are times when the two Easters are off by a week…or a month, there are times, when, using the different calanders and methods of calculation the date occurs at the same time.
I think that is a bigger miracle than the Holy Fire, but, now is not the time for my editorial comments.

That is so true, because those in John 6:66 were Jesus’ followers up to that point where Jesus made it clear we, Christians (followers of Jesus), must eat (literally naw on) His Flesh and drink His Blood. Then because of their failure to or refusal to believe in the Holy Eucharist they left Jesus.How would that make them Protestants?
Actually you got that confused.
The first time Protestants appear in Scripture is John 6:66.
Orthodox and Catholic Christians are the only ones who took Jesus at His Word and continue to believe in Him - even if it is “a hard teaching”.
It is only the Protestants who reject Jesus at that point.
(Non-Christians never even accepted Jesus in the first place, let alone the Holy Eucharist.)
Still makes no sense to me how someone can feel comfortable claiming to be a Christian while at the same time so bluntly rejecting Jesus Christ!

You are right that the dating of Easter/Holy Pascha rarely falls on the same date for both Orthodox and Catholic/Protestant Christians.
However that rare occasion certainly **does not **prove the Holy Fire Miracle to be then a Catholic/Protestant miracle. Clearly it is only a miracle specifically targeted for Orthodox Christians.

Miracles are for everyone, Just as Christ was available for everyone.
It is just that Christ will decide where and when and to who he appears to. Everyone can see him if they free themselves of the scales covering their eyes.

I think that the reason that Mary is not appearing to Protestants today is because of their rejection of her. Many of them either don’t believe that any Marian apparitions are real, or they think that they’re demonic. Also, most Protestants don’t want to have anything to do with Mary, because of their beliefs that Marian devotion = Mary worship. Some of them even go as far as diminishing Mary to just a means to an end. Still others, though probably a minority, actually slander and insult her.
One thing that puzzles me though, is the question of why she has apparently never appeared to an Anglican or a Lutheran. There are some Anglicans and Lutherans who still have Marian devotions.

I think that there is a sufficient knowledge from the Scriptures that Mary would not make these appearances for the simple reason of Why? If I saw something like this I would cerainly treat it as a demonic appearance because that’s what it would most assuredly be.

The mother had been in a wealthy Catholic school in switzerland and remembered the Hail Mary from her childhood…and that’s what they eventually prayed… And this was a Muslim family.

You are exactly right. And that is exactly what the Orthodox Church does - test the spirit just as is described in the New Testament.
Making the sign of the cross, humility (leave me I am unworthy), calling on Jesus and Mary to protect you, etc. are the best way to get demons to flee. They hate the cross because by it they are defeated, they hate humility because it is their pride which caused them to fall from heaven and they hate Jesus and Mary with a passion.
However, if the vision persists then an Orthodox Christian would give detailed reports to their spiritual father or mother (every Orthodox Christian has one) for discernment.
In cases of Myrrh Streaming Icons, the Icon is given over to the Bishop for investigation and discernment.
Mary, the Mother of God, loves those who love her Son, Jesus, who honor and accept Him in the Eucharist and she likes to visit us or make miracles to encourage us in our walk with Christ.
