No, it was not, “Plan 9 From Outer Space,” which, incidentally I have seen, and found, on the whole, not that bad of a movie.
I will not say the name of the movie because I don’t want to encourage anybody to see this movie and I assure you, by not telling you about it, it is not something you would see. I will tell you the plot, tell me if this sounds familiar to you.
The movie begins, BEGINS, it begins, by the Hero/Narrator of the movie, the person who guides us through the movie, the person who the movie is about KILLS HIMSELF, by literally taking a flying leap (he gets a head start by running). I am not kidding you when I say the movie goes downhill from there. My Uncle, whom my Aunt & I were watching this movie with said at this point, “I think we just saw the end of the movie.” He was right. He also could not make it past the first hour of this two hour movie.
So, after/before he jumps, we find out that two weeks(? - doesn’t matter) prior, his best friend, who has, my friend and I think, a very deliberate racist name, was killed. They both live in this run down lodging of sorts, along with others who are, for one reason or another, not all mentally stable. This FBI agent, who is engaged, but, later, in a conversation WARNING: SPOILER ALERT], for some reason not defined, his fiance decides to leave him, and he is perfectly alright with that, gets assigned to this crack house of crack pots to crack this case because Dead Guy’s Very Rich Dad wants to know what happened. The nut jobs all band together and decide to have this sacrificial lamb of the Narrator admit that he killed his friend, who, had these tar paintings, which is really tar covering ACTUAL paintings that other people have painted and that are priceless. The reason that all this happens is because Narrator is in love with the Autistic Whore of the movie, who his friend sleeps with, just…well, I’m not realy sure. The Narrator 1/2 killed, 1/2 let Dead Friend fall (who was leaning back over the top of the building in which they lived, being supported only by Narrator). We find out that FBI Agent Man had three arms when he was born (one on his back), and WHY this is significant, we don’t care. Oh yeah, and there’s some guy who thinks he’s the 5th Beatle in the movie as well.
There’s other things happening in the movie, but, they’re not nearly as coherent as this summary.
