no no, MUCH worse. You may actually do as your lord does, and smite, murder, burn, flood, plague, rape and torture everyone/thing who doesn’t do what you say.

Can I just ask, why did God create Satan? If he is meant to be omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent etc ect blah blah then he would *know *that satan would betray him, so why create him in the first place?

Also, on the same subject, what’s the point in praying when our future is already set? You say we have “free will” but we don’t really, because God can see into our futures, and if he can’t, then he isn’t omniscient, and therefore imperfect.

That’s something I’ve always wondered. If you have an answer, that would be awesome.👍

I’m really surprised at your lack of knowledge. Most atheists I’ve known are much more knowledgeable than to make such statements.

I believe that burn, rape, torture stuff is more the way of atheist Communists (former Soviet Union, China, et al).

Also, Satan’s original description/job is more to test the faith of humankind rather than as an equal/opponent of God. If you were a true atheist and not just someone using that tag to get a rise out of people here, you would have known that.

“Free will” gives us the chance to look and question our faith, a process that brings us closer to God.

Please point out the passages where our Lord, Jesus, says to do these things.
Apparantly none of these things have happened to you, perhaps you should thank Him.

How does God knowing how our future will end up negate free will and prayer?

The son of god rolls into town and gets crucified and ascends to heaven and not one roman or Jewish historian writes one word down about it?

Is this what you are trying to tell me?

None of these atheists would believe in God if he came to their homes, knocked on the door, jumped in their lap and called them by name. I think it’s probably better to wonder if God believes in them?

As I have said, I came here to learn about your religion and not be ignorant of what other people believe, not because my heart tells me their is a god. I have shown where I stand on atheism and agnosticism.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again you CANNOT be BOTH agnostic AND atheist. The two are two contradictory terms. Please read your dictionary.

I just went to spell check, all of it is right. Agnosticism is a word, read you dictionary.
And as I posted before I will post again “Agnostic definition as was defined by T.H. Huxley, the man who coined the term that means one should not profess to a belief in something that cannot be proven.”

In my mind, agnostic means that you do not know. I do not believe because I do not know. Or we could use the quote above. I do not believe because I do not see proof. I am an atheist because I’m agnostic. Please give me a break, I’m tired and I have been arguing on this for a while. If you are going to waste your time asking questions that have been answered please go back through and look at them. Please don’t waste my time making me say things twice.
 
As an agnostic, you would recognize God, just not feel obligated to worship Him. As an atheist, you don’t recognize the existance of God.
