I second that. No, god is a hypothesis. The existence of any god doesn’t rate the standing of theory.

Do your own homework! You brought it up.
Why don’t you give us all the information on it?
Translation:I am just trying to connect to that hurting soul if you want to talk about it just tell us all your story you will see we have ones of our own.
no no, MUCH worse. You may actually do as your lord does, and smite, murder, burn, flood, plague, rape and torture everyone/thing who doesn’t do what you say.Why disturbing, do you think we’re going to force you into a camp to reeducate you, as Stalin and (other atheist) Communists did with many Christians?
If prayers worked there would not be 27,000 people starve to death on this planet today.I have no doubt their is a GOD. He has answered many of my prayers and has shown me many miracles.![]()
I’m really surprised at your lack of knowledge. Most atheists I’ve known are much more knowledgeable than to make such statements.no no, MUCH worse. You may actually do as your lord does, and smite, murder, burn, flood, plague, rape and torture everyone/thing who doesn’t do what you say.
Can I just ask, why did God create Satan? If he is meant to be omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent etc ect blah blah then he would *know *that satan would betray him, so why create him in the first place?
Also, on the same subject, what’s the point in praying when our future is already set? You say we have “free will” but we don’t really, because God can see into our futures, and if he can’t, then he isn’t omniscient, and therefore imperfect.
That’s something I’ve always wondered. If you have an answer, that would be awesome.![]()
Please point out the passages where our Lord, Jesus, says to do these things.no no, MUCH worse. You may actually do as your lord does, and smite, murder, burn, flood, plague, rape and torture everyone/thing who doesn’t do what you say
The same question could be asked about you, no?Can I just ask, why did God create Satan? If he is meant to be omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent etc ect blah blah then he would *know *that satan would betray him, so why create him in the first place?
How does God knowing how our future will end up negate free will and prayer? Also, on the same subject, what’s the point in praying when our future is already set? You say we have “free will” but we don’t really, because God can see into our futures, and if he can’t, then he isn’t omniscient, and therefore imperfect.

What have you done to feed those people? If prayers worked there would not be 27,000 people starve to death on this planet today.
Are you really going to convince me that no roman or Jewish historian wrote one word about this? And why would there be? The Romans did not even believe in the God of the Jews so why would they write of his son. and the Jews did not believe him so why would they write?
Would it matter? Would you believe then? Are you really going to convince me that no roman or Jewish historian wrote one word about this?
MATTHEW:
15:34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
15:35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
15:36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
15:37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.
15:38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
The son of god rolls into town performing miracles and not ONE person wrote one word about it?
The son of god rolls into a town of about 20,000 and feeds 4000 people and not one person writes one word down about it.
The son of god rolls into town and gets crucified and ascends to heaven and not one roman or Jewish historian writes one word down about it?
Is this what you are trying to tell me?
None of these atheists would believe in God if he came to their homes, knocked on the door, jumped in their lap and called them by name. I think it’s probably better to wonder if God believes in them?Would it matter? Would you believe then?
What evidence do you have for these eye witness’s outside of the bible? There were people that personally witnessed Jesus perform miracles and still didn’t believe. Even the Apostles struggled, like Thomas for instance.
I was speaking of the eyewitnesses in the bible. What evidence do you have for these eye witness’s outside of the bible?
As I have said, I came here to learn about your religion and not be ignorant of what other people believe, not because my heart tells me their is a god. I have shown where I stand on atheism and agnosticism. The fact that you are here, curious about Catholicism indicates that while your mind says there is no God, your heart is telling you maybe your mind might not be correct. As for the Church doing bad things over the years, the Church is run by humans (prone to error) and as such, when an error is made, it is acknowledged (John Paul II apologizing for the Inquisition). You can’t be both an atheist and an agnostic. As an agnostic, you would recognize God, just not feel obligated to worship Him. As an atheist, you don’t recognize the existance of God.
Please read the comments before. So Mauricio0 I’m curious why you are a member of this site in the first place. It’s not like you were tricked into joining, and I guess if you can’t engage in the dialogue here, then maybe there really is something in negativity not being able to exist where positive feelings are. Also, perhaps before you engage in childish tantrums you might try taking some English courses.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again you CANNOT be BOTH agnostic AND atheist. The two are two contradictory terms. Please read your dictionary. As I have said, I came here to learn about your religion and not be ignorant of what other people believe, not because my heart tells me their is a god. I have shown where I stand on atheism and agnosticism.
I just went to spell check, all of it is right. Agnosticism is a word, read you dictionary.I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again you CANNOT be BOTH agnostic AND atheist. The two are two contradictory terms. Please read your dictionary. You can read can’t you? Because you sure can’t spell.
Did you just read my post? Thats it, I’m gone for today. You will probably see me in the morning. As an agnostic, you would recognize God, just not feel obligated to worship Him. As an atheist, you don’t recognize the existance of God.
