HELP! My 21 daughter wants an abortion

Maggie keep strong,please know God knows you are doing and have done all you can to prevent this happening.We respect and admire your courage for all you are doing.May God bless you,your daughter and the baby.

Sadly, that’s not going to happen. She is VERY anti-religious and has bought into the idea that Religion causes wars. Ironic, isn’t it? She’s having someone kill her child and she’s worried about wars overseas that she doesn’t understand.

Use it as an "I betcha can’t… See if she goes for it. As far as religion causing wars, it’s not religion that causes them, but the people who are part of it.
 
I’m praying for her!!!

Praying that at least if she doesn’t decide definitely on carrying her baby, that her indecisiveness will lead to the baby’s birth.

What a wonderful mother you are! Praying that you can be just as wonderful a gramma:)

My heart is aching after reading all the above posts. My prayers are added that your daughter will keep her baby. Also prayers for her baby and for you Maggie.

please hear our prayers for maggie and her daughter and unborn grandchild.Bless this child please Lord and no matter what the daughter decides please protect this child.Plesse grant strength and comfort to Maggie as she strives so hard to prevent her daughter terminating the pregnancy.Please open the heart and mind of the daughter that she will continue witht he pregnancy but give up the baby for adoption if she cannot cope with motherhood.Thankyou for hearing our prayers.In Jesus name Amen

What a beautiful prayer. I am overwhelmed with tears of gratitude.

Please continue praying. Katherine has an appointment on Monday for a consultation to schedule the procedure, probably for the following week. She is at least 17 weeks now, perhaps more (she smokes so the baby will likely be smaller than normal). That means 19-20 weeks!

I’ve been praying and researching and doing everything that I can think of without turning my daughter away. It has been such a long month and she is so determined. I pray every day, begging that baby to KICK! We are so close to him or her making herself known.

Please pray, especially, for all those young women out there who do not have the support and love and compassion to make them able to choose Life. These women suffer so.

I suppose I am not really an expert, but I would say that you can, stop this, and this may be proved in three ways:

First, just know that faith can move mountains. Pray for your grandchild and be a role model of faith, hope, and above all charity to your daughter.

Second, remind her that even though she may not, you love your grandchild so much you cannot express it. Tell her that to kill that fetus would wrench a hole in your heart, because it would mean your grandchild had been slaughtered.

Finally, here is an argument I have been contemplating lately: Those who contend that abortion is moral hold that it is only moral insofar as it is the act of a practitioner of medicine. Medical science, however, treats of the health of the body of a patient. Abortion, conversely, is either an act against the life of a person (the truth) or of a member of the mother’s body (essentially a lie, but the argument still holds). In either case, abortion is an act against the health of some person and is therefore contrary to medical science. There exists, therefore, no possible human agent capable of executing an abortion morally.

Never have I felt so helpless and bereft. Katherine has an appointment on Monday where they will be inserting the laminaria, the procedure is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday.

I have a beautiful doll arriving on Monday of a 4 1/2 month fetus, a prototype of one being produced in January. It will, it seems arrive too late. Perhaps it wouldn’t have mattered.

So I am begging for the Grace to acknowledge God’s hand in all this, His will. It is hard, though, as time is running out.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support.

Please keep praying just a few more days.
