HELP! My 21 daughter wants an abortion

God please spare the baby, but not as we will, as You will. Please help us to get through today and to remember this crisis. Help those of us not directly affected to remember that a child of Your creation is at risk today, and that You alone should determine the length of that child’s life. Please help us to remember our obligations to You and all of Your creation. God, please bless this baby and carry her mother from the mouth of the dragon’s lair. Help us to love these people, though we do not know them, for they were made in Your image.

*I know your daughter is scheduled to begin the process today, Maggie. We are praying that she doesn’t go through with it–please keep us posted. I have been looking back at this since posting the other day, to see if she has reconsidered.

Thank you to everyone for your many prayers, I am overwhelmed with the great love and compassion by so many!

They have scheduled the abortion on Friday at an abortion Hospital, rather than a clinic. I know there was an incident a couple of weeks ago at the clinic where, during late term abortions, a patient was taken away by ambulance. Never found out what happened, but I suspect they are being safe. So, there has been a minor reprieve. I keep praying for that baby ti KICK, although it will likely not matter, but will pray and hope until hope is gone. They told her the baby’s nerves are not connected yet and it is not sentient so it is not a life.

The hardest part lately is the incredible anger; fear for her and rage over what she has decided to do. That my tax dollars are paying for it further angers me, particularly since many pro-abortionists find this amusing. This anger is normal and it takes constant vigilance to not be distracted by it. I believe that this is from the devil and my own ego, for “How could she do such a thing?!”

Why do I share this? For those who read this thread to know that these feelings are part of the process and we are to be vigilant. In all things, we are called to offer our lives over to God and to pray that He use us for His will alone. We are called to be Love, especially in times like these when Love is so very hard. So I continue to Love, I continue to pray, I mourn and yet, I know that there is a Loving Father, who is perfect in all things. I am so lacking and wish that I were better at this, but He knows what is in my heart.

God bless each of you for your prayers and for the great outpouring of compassion.

Please Sweet Jesus. Take hold of this young lady and help her to realize the sanctity of life. Keep this baby safe and bless this family.

Well, perhaps. The local clinic had a late term abortion patient transported to the hospital a couple of weeks ago. I do not know the outcome, only that the ambulance was there. I suspect they are trying to be safe and be able to cover themselves, should God forbid something go wrong. (as though this isn’t already so wrong). My daughter may also be trying to avoid having her mother praying outside the clinic while she is there or, simply responding to my concerns about the dangers of the procedure. She thinks the hospital will be safe than the clinic, perhaps it will (though, not for the baby).

I still have hope yet, will accept whatever the Lord is willing to allow to happen to His children.

Please, please pray for all these women, especially those who have no one to pray for them. Seeing how my child is suffering through this, even though she believe it’s her choice, is so very hard. The depth of their pain has been made so clear to me that my heart cries out for each and every one.

I did request that she meet with me and a counselor tomorrow to talk one last time, I don’t know if she will come. I’m praying for God to guide my words and help me to be Love.

These people do not belong anywhere near a surgical knife, if they have such little knowledge of human development - the nervous system is actually the first thing to be formed - that “string” you see under the microscope when you look at an embryo is the child’s spinal cord. aka her nervous system.

It’s a video of an actual abortion. Apparently it’s changed a lot of minds when they see how the baby tries to escape. And you can see how they actually suck it out of the womb. You can’t ignore the obvious pain and cruelty. That’s the best I can think of. Surely she will listen? Let me know if it helps.
 
Maggie I hope your daughter had a last-minute change of heart. I am so sorry for the grief you must be feeling if she has not.
