Can you tell your dd that so many are praying for her and this child & all of you?
I pray every night for my spiritually adopted babies, Therese and Roberto and their parents, wherever they are.
Also pray for the doctors or whoever will be involved in this. May God intervene in some way.
St Micheal the archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God,
Cast back into hell all evil spirits who prowl the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Thank you, but my daughter has been there twice (she left early the second time) and I have been there three times. This is not a new topic to me, I am well-versed and have always been very pro-life. I am also working with the advice of a priest and a Catholic counselor, sent her to a Catholic counselor and, regardless, she is still determined. She now refuses to go back to the pregnancy center to let them finish the counseling.
Katherine made her decision very early on, a full month before she even told me about it, a month ago and she made it clear that she had already decided going to do. She sits through what I have to say, but she has been just shining me on so that I will not get angry with her.
She has bought all the lies that the pro-abortion people have fed her, including all her friends. There is one last hope. A friend who is a nurse and went through an abortion may be able to talk with her tonight, but my daughter’s heart is hardened to the Truth.
I trust in God, though this is very hard, while I have not given up completely, I do know that what happens will be His will and, perhaps, He has a plan that is beyond ability to understand. I am unable to see beyond the pain and loss right now, both for my child and for my grandchild.
The laminaria will be placed tomorrow, so my hope is waning.

*I read through this thread, hoping by the end here, that she had reconsidered. Your compassion, love, and support for your daughter during this trying time will not be in vain. I believe that. Praying that God brings your family a miracle very soon…we can’t stop praying. I’m so sorry to hear of your situation–praying very hard that your daughter doesn’t go through with the abortion. Your strength is inspiring, I’ll have you know.

It is with great sadness that I ask you to wrap your loving arms around my daughter Katherine and this precious baby she carries. Love, too, all the other women out there who are so misled and wounded and suffering as she is.
Help me to love, in the midst of my sorrow, and to always remember that my sorrow and mourning pales in comparison to the suffering that you must feel to have this gift of Life rejected. Help me to be grateful for the awareness of your suffering and all that you have offered up for us. Give me the Grace to emulate your great Love for your children.
Thank for the many prayers, such amazing response from people. Perhaps, through this other lives may be saved. Help me to always see your tremendous Love in the kindness of those around me who have joined me in prayer during this time. May we always know Your voice and emulate you.
Please help me to move beyond this terrible anger and helplessness that I feel. Give me the Grace to allow my actions to be guided by Your Will. Father I beg your forgiveness for not reaching my child when she was younger; I wish with all my heart that I had worked harder to be sure that she was informed. If I should have said or done something differently, I pray that you will not allow my offspring to suffer for my own failings.
Please help me to trust in Your plan and to always act in Love, in spite of my desire to reject her for this. Oh the anger I feel!
