Sure. I want you to teach me why Mary is our intercessor. Just pretend I am an inquiring Catholic. Why is the Church our Authority? Tell me why is sola scriptura heretical. Why is the Bible alone insufficient? You are the catechist. Defend your catholic faith. How do you respond?

The point we are making is that you seem very ill-equipped in passing on the Catholic faith. You seem quite well equipped to pass on a protestant faith. You don’t come across sounding like you are even remotely familiar with the Catechism of the Catholic Church that you profess to be teaching. Whenever a Catholic posts Catholic teaching in any thread you are in, you reject it. That concerns me.

I do not teach the authority the canon, Why Mary is our intercesser I teach Ministries and it I teach anything else I teach by the book and when asked a question I go to the book period. I teach exactly what I am suppose to teach not my personal feelings period!

Because I have no issue admitting that I am wrong. It has been a long learning process with for me. I go to confession because I am a sinner.

According to you, local churches have authority. Does that authority allow them to teach whatever they want, as long as it does not directly contradict the Scriptures?

Let me make myself clear … I would like you to teach me from the Bible anything that I don’t understand. If you understand what I’ve said any other way, you have thought wrongly. Do we have things straight yet?

I’ll fall into your trap: sure, I guess so. I might go a little further: a mature church should try not to contradict things even if they are indirectly against Scripture. This is a finer line, I understand.

It was obvious from your original post that you were referring to me and all other non-catholic Christians. So this post of yours is redundant.​

To me, it’s big that you realize the CC of today doesn’t want to consider itself wrong.

what the CC teaches is the Truth. why dont you believe what she teaches?

Because Dokimas does not believe any thing about Catholicism he has his private interpretation that goes against the Bible

I can easily teach what you ask from the scripture. What is it you want to learn?

No offense but i think you are more interested in people loving you than to tell them the Truth. just because someone believes in the Bible 100% like you said does not mean they know the Truth. dont you believe what the CC teaches?

If you can’t trust what I say, why ask more questions. I guess we can’t have a conversation because you’ve settled all the issues. I’ve never claimed I know everything. I’ve claimed quite the opposite. Are you, in this post, revealing your understanding?​

I have trouble matching some of the teachings of the CC with the Bible - that’s why I don’t think everything the CC or ANY church teaches is 100% correct. BTW, I know I don’t have all the correct understanding. I will, no doubt, be quite surprised as to how much I don’t understand.
