Here’s the link for that, LS:

"Two Congressmen And Ex-Benghazi Committee Staffer Admit Partisan Nature Of The Committee. Since September 29, three credible Republicans have admitted to the partisan nature of the House Select Committee on Benghazi and its primary goal of tarnishing Hillary Clinton. While the first admission may have been inadvertent – House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) boasted that the committee had achieved its goal of damaging Clinton’s poll numbers during an interview with Fox News about his candidacy for House Speaker – since then, former Benghazi committee staffer Bradley F. Podliska and a second Republican congressman, Rep. Richard Hanna (R-NY), have come forward and admitted the committee was “designed to go after” Clinton. [Media]

I’m glad Hillary has not stooped to their level.

That’s quite interesting.

No more dynasties…no more clintons…no more bushes

Hilary can’t respond to a real crisis as SoS…she won’t be able to respind as president. And we don’t need Bill given free reign again!

I feel Hillary did respond well. Eight hours isn’t enough time for anyone to adequately respond, Republican or Democrat.

I respect your feelings, but I don’t feel the Clintons and the Bushes are dynasties. The Tudors, the Windsors, etc. in the UK are dynasties, and I agree, they are not good for the country.

It’s interesting that so many Republicans claim to be outraged about how Hillary handled Benghazi where 4 people were killed, but I haven’t really seen any outrage among Republicans about the following:
The justification for going to war in Iraq thirteen years ago, was based on a 93-page classified document that allegedly contained “specific information” on former Iraqi leader President Saddam Hussein and the weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs he was apparently running.
Now that document has been declassified and it reveals that there was virtually zero justification for the Iraq war. The document reveals that there was “no operational tie between Saddam and al Qaeda” and no WMD programs.
The report reveals that the intelligence community and the US Department of Energy did not think Saddam was pursuing any type of WMD program, and was instead developing rocket motors.
yournewswire.com/declassified-cia-document-reveals-iraq-war-had-zero-justification/

And how many US service members were killed in Iraq: 4,491.

For some, though, it will be a matter of ignorance. For others, it’s a matter of approving what she stands for.
For some it might even be a matter of disapproving of her opponent in a general election more than they disapprove of her. I’m sure various voters will have their own particular reasons for voting for Hillary.

It takes the greatest leap of imagination to fault Hillary for the terrible tragedy at Benghazi. I don’t know that I’ve ever respected her more than I did at that hearing. She did an outstanding job as SOS. Benghazi was a partisan witch hunt - members of the Republican Party admitted as much.

Many more Americans died in embassies across the world under the Bush Administration. Where was the outrage then?
Hillary or Obama weren’t in the Bush Administration. 😉

LOL Why do people like to beat up Hillary so much? She’s accomplished more than almost any woman in the US, and she’s on the verge of making history, just like Obama.

But Bernie has momentum. It’s not impossible, but it’s going to be hard.

Beats me, Lily. Sometimes I think it dates back to when as First Lady she tried to get care for the sick. But I’m not sure. 🤷

But as you pointed out earlier in your partial list of Hillary’s accomplishments, “When universal health care failed during Bill’s administration, Hillary worked with Orrin Hatch and Ted Kennedy to create the SCHIP program that provided health care to millions of low income children”.

Um…this website also is peddling 9-11 Truther theory, so, I can’t even begin to take it seriously.

Also, it’s pretty clear the Iraq War (which many Democrats including SOS Hillary Clinton and SOS John Kerry) voted in favor of was based on inaccurate intelligence information.

Oh yes, she puts Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks on the B-team…😊

What did she even accomplish as Secretary of State?

Isn’t that the same site that claimed Stanley Kubrick faked the moon landing?

They were offered extra security by the military, but Chris Stevens refused. No one anticipated the attack, so no one could have rescued Stevens and the other three, but yes, it’s tragic that they died. Those guilty are the ones who planned and carried out the attack.

Chris Stevens asked that security not be increased:

Does that make it his fault? No, of course not. Again, the fault lies with those who carried out the attack.
I think your version of the facts doesn’t match the reality.

Stevens repeatedly requested additional security resources through his Dept of State channels (>400 of them) and he was refused. He was not allowed to accept extra security unless it was approved through Dept of State channels. That’s the way things work.

Whether or not rescue resources would have saved lives is not certain. What is certain is that none were sent when the request for help was made, during the attack.

The only ‘cover up’ was about their lying about the video, to minimize the political damage from acknowledging a planned terrorist attack during the election cycle. Though it’s not criminal, Rice, Clinton, and Obama repeatedly lied to the public after the incident.

Lives lost needlessly.
So now you are back to mourning lost lives needlessly -

So sad - you care not one wit about the unborn lives - slaughtered by the millions in our country - over 14,000 each year in my small western state each year … and ‘abortions’ exported around the world as women’s rights to “reproductive health care” … code for abortion on demand

very sad … the democratic party platform promotes killing …

Hillary is strongly in favor of a woman’s “right” to choose to murder her unborn child. A lot of Americans agree and will vote for her to preserve those pro-choice “rights” .

If it really were so simple, why all of these cover-ups?

Mediamatters is a Clinton front group and is also a left-wing propaganda machine.

The fact is Chairman Trey Gowdy tried to run a decent hearing (no thanks to Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings, who tried to turn the whole thing into a Clinton campaign ad) and even asked for political candidates NOT to run ads on the hearings as he clearly wanted to conduct them fairly.

Now, McCarthy came under heavy fire for those comments—and rightly so. But the fact that Gowdy personally appealed for no ads to be run says something about his character as a committee chair.

This is what is meant about standing up to the establishment of both parties so that he could do his job.

He wasn’t going to take the Democrat’s nonsense because they were scared of their frontrunner being irreparably damaged and he wasn’t going to let the GOP candidates compromise the integrity of the hearings with ads because frankly it’s not his job (despite McCarthy’s arrogant comments) to help them win elections but to oversee a committee.

One would think that paying those campaign consultants as much as they do wouldn’t require such shenanigans. 😊

Also, Hanna and McCarthy are probably two of the biggest reasons why the republican race is down to Cruz and the current frontrunner.
I’m glad Hillary has not stooped to their level.
If the State Department had done its job and come clean, we wouldn’t even be in this mess.

One has to wonder why Hillary didn’t come out and cooperate immediately; instead she undoubtedly opted to protect the president’s re-election bid.

Remember, the mainstream media covered for the Democrats in October 2012 so that Obama/Biden could win and perhaps even so Reid could keep his majority in the Senate.

A consequence of that safety net is what is happening today.

Stevens was posted May 22, 2012.

On June 7, 2012 he requested Mobile Security Deployments; they were refused.
as a basis for his request, he listed increasing attacks against international organizations and foreign interests, including an attack on a U.N. official in Benghazi, and IED explosion at the consulate compound and a rocket propelled grenade attack on the British ambassador’s convoy.

On August 6 in an email he discussed the security situation; on august 8 a cable mentioned a series of violent incidents and warned that the local security forces the Obama administration was relying on to protect diplomats “has not coalesced into a stabilizing force and provides little deterrence”.

And on the day of his capture, brutal beating and sodomization and finally his murder, he reiterated the warning.
