I knew Trump’s message and I still watched his long speech in full. It was shouty and loud to me and by the end was dragging to me but I still made it thru it. Then afterwards as everyone celebrated with balloons and confetti and the Trumps and Chris Christie and Mike Pence and others were on stage, but with no Ted Cruz or John Kasich or any Bushes or Carly Fiorina, I listened to them playing the song, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”.

Not unless you consider it a contortion that your church teaches anyone baptized Catholic to always be Catholic. If you do, then your issue would seem to be with your church’s teaching. There are no mental contortions required because according to Catholic teaching, Tim Kaine is a Catholic.
 
Don’t know much about Kaine, but I wish Hillary would have picked Bernie or Elizabeth Warren, either would have clinched the victory in my opinion.

While I am not a Trump supporter, the reason that I had to walk away from it was because the truth in it infuriated me.

It is hard to stomach how much America has become a feckless tiger and a laughingstock to the enemies of freedom in the last eight years.

Trump’s speech last night did not fail him. It is everything that came before that is counting against him.

Hillary has nothing new to say, and no personality to deliver her nothing message. It is the content of her message more than her unpleasant delivery system that would not carry my interest.

Now, if it was Ivanka Trump delivering the message, I bet you a lot of us wouldn’t even notice the message. Her delivery system was so pleasantly perfect that I honestly can’t remember a single thing that she said, even though I hung on every word. at the time.

The TPP would empower foreign investors to drag the U.S. government to private international arbitration tribunals whenever they claim that our environmental, energy or climate policies violate expansive new TPP foreign investor privileges. Corporations can demand unlimited taxpayer compensation based on future profits ostensibly thwarted by the policy. There is no outside appeal.
