I agree 100% Millie. Well said!I think that the Clinton campgaign specifically chose a Muslim family of immigrants who lost a son in war as a calculated move to contrast themselves from the Trump campgaign and his antiislamic and anti immigrant policies. Make no mistake about this, Clinton (very smartly) made a calculated decision to chose a family of Muslim immgrants who lost their son in war to speak at her convention.
All Trump had to do in response to this family was say “I’m grateful for your son’s service to our country, Im sorry for your loss.” Now I feel that Trump lack of empathy, and uncompassionate response to this family, is like handing Clinton a present wrapped in a bow. Really, his continued criticism lf this family is a gift to Clinton. It makes him look vain and egotistical, it envelopes his campaign with more controversy, and shows more division among the GOP’s support for Trump. Honestly, I think the best move Trump can do right now is Let it Go. There is one person who this controversy is not hurting and that is Clinton.
