Clever Paul, in my opinion, carved mythical ChristianGod out of Jesus, in his absence, when Jesus migrated from Judea and went on his sojourn to Persia, Afghanistan, NWFP, the Punjab, Kashmir, Tibet and India to save his life at hand of the persecuting and cruel Jews and to complete his mission set out for him by his GodAllahParmesherYHWH.

Paul’s mythical tale could not include the characters of Mary- the mother and several other trusted companions of Jesus who accompanied him or who later joined him. Paul avoided, in my opinion, meeting and discussing about such persons lest the balloon of myth gets punctured.

Jesus and Mary disappeared from Judea, but appeared in those lands. History is not necessarily what the European people wrote. History is a secular subject recording events of human beings any where in the world at a particular point of time.

If one relies on evidences of history written by a particular race/color/religion or place of a people only, then definitely one would get a distorted and foggy picture of the events and would be biased for nothing. This is an age of information and research. Everything is nigh, only a click away on Google. Why to stick on a blind faith, when your faith could be enriched and given eyes and ears.

If Catholics love Jesus and Mary, they should look into this information available on Google and other research engine.
If Jesus died and is buried in a tomb at Mohallah Khanyar, Sirinagar, India and Mary is buried in Murree as also accepted by Holger Kerston, a German research scholar. Please Google for< Mary: Holger Kerston> and see the information for yourself. Accept only when you are satisfied heart and soul. No compulsion.

This is what I believe in with my research to my fullest satisfaction; others could believe what they think to be true with rational reasons. No harm.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

The heading of this thread “History is not necessarily what the European people wrote” and the contents of your post imply that Paul and the authors of the Gospels and other books were European.

As these people were not “European”, it seems your understanding of basic evidence is somewhat weak.

History stands or falls not by the origin of the writer, but its ability to withstand rigorous scrutiny

If St Paul was lying about Jesus and the Faith, then he was a fraud.
Frauds, do not good martyrs make!

After he initially persecuted the Christians with vigour, he changed dramatically on the road to Damascus. He had little to gain materially by accepting Christ, so there must have been a very compelling reason.

Concerning the veracity of the books of the Old and New Testaments, I recommend you read Lee Strobel’s book “The Case for the real Jesus” in which he rigorously scrutinises the Christian faith.
The conclusion is that the faith and the Judeo-Christian books pass that examination.

Sorry to say this but I checked that website and it is nothing but New Age rubbish as far as I am concerned. 🤷

Hi

I think you have not read the things intently. It has got nothing to do with the New Age people. Please make your opinion after reading it again.

Thanks

Hi

I am not much concerned with what happened to Paul and why? My concern are Jesus and Mary.

Do you know what happened to Jesus and Mary after the incident of Crucifixion, till they died?

There is nothing of historic value with Christians. So if others nations have recorded as Jesus and Mary went to their lands; that should be logically your concern. One is your Master Lord and the other is his mother Mary.

Since they both migrated from Judea; the European information of that age was buried under mythical debris created by Paul. I won’t start Paul bashing; but I can’t resist of telling what other nations of the time had recorded about Jesus and Mary.

Please be patient.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna

Thanks

…Do you know what happened to Jesus and Mary after the incident of Crucifixion, till they died?..
Jesus got off the cross and he told the to Roman soldiers that were around “I was uncomfortable up there, I am going to stretch out a little bit” Then he got his mom and when nobody was looking they just ran away.😃 😃 😃

What did you think it happen to Jesus from the moment he was put on the cross until the moment he died? Please read the Gospels!

Your argument is based on misconceptions of Christianity, hence your argument is invalid on the whole (fallacy).

Have a nice day.

Paarsurrey, you are relying on a tradition of history like anyone else. The difference between your tradition and ours is that yours is wrong.

Well, we know that Jesus died upon the cross. So that ends that question.

Mary went with John until her assumption. John did not go to India therefore Mary did not go to India.

Right. Thomas went to India. Perhaps the OP has his disciples confused. 😉

Hi

Is it mentioned in the Gospels when Mary’s assumption took place? I don’t think so. This creed was adopted much later by the Catholic Church, an after thought, that came perhaps centuries later.

Paul had no time to meet Mary and take advice from her. If he had met her that would have been recorded in the Gospels. Paul knew, in my opinion, that he would be exposed.

Mary was Jesus’ own responsiblity. As a courtesy, in my opinion, when Jesus was on the Cross, he told John to take care of her. When he was alright he took care of her himself;and that is but natural.

Thanks

Yes! You are correct, first Jesus asked John to take care of his mother. Later, when he was alright and seating at the right hand of the Father, He assumed her into heaven. As you said, it is natural that this is what happened.

Yes I have. It is New Age. Bits and pieces of old pagan religions inter mingled with pseudo Christianity.
New Age is a broad umbrella and this falls under it.

I find this thread strange. Your prophile claims Islam yet you sound more Bahai. BTW its easy to say you love an idea. What about the real people? What did Jesus say of himself? Paul seems to fit in line with already established teaching. So, it is stange you claim he made this up himself. Follow the facts a little more. What evidence do you have Jesus and Mary are buried in India? What evidence do you have that Krishna is a person. Buddha was a man but what do you believe about him as well?

Jesus gave Mary to the Saint John to look after her. Then He died on the Cross, was buried and three days later rose from the dead. He walked among His disciples for 40 days and then ascended to His Father in Heaven. A little over a week later, the Holy Spirit came upon them.

After Pentecost, Mary lived with Saint John. Eventually, Saint John went to Asia Minor (Turkey) and Mary went with him. There he tended his flock in seven Churches. He and Mary lived there until the end of her earthly pilgrimage when she was assumed into Heaven - body and soul - and crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth.

You can still go and visit the house of Saint John and Mary in Ephesus (in modern day Turkey).

Uh… no thank you.

I love the Lord and my Mother. I don’t need to use Google or any other search engines.
