You just refuted Islam as a whole. Without realizing what you just said, you acknowledged Islam never existed before Mohammad . I dont see why you are so eager to wait for judgmend day to see who is right and whos not, when God provides you so much evidence that Islam is the false religion started by a false prophet.
[Jesus (p) never made any statue of himself or his mom , put those idols inside any Church ( if there was really any Church like today’s ) & ordered people to bow down in front of those statues & pray.

Muslims believe God sent Prophets to all nations. They all taught people to worship one God without partner. No Prophet ever taught that God has parents , begotten son or daughter etc.

Jesus (p) also taught **God is greater than All.
Jesus (the Prince of Peace) never said NOT to make any statue of Himself or His Holy Mother. He also never ordered NOT to bow down in front of those statues and pray.

"A great example of this in the time of Moses is the Brass Serpent. God commanded Moses to make this Brass Serpent and lift it high to cure any Israelite who looked at it of snakebites. I repeat it was God who commanded Moses to make this image. Later in history, King Hezekiah destroyed the Serpent because the Hebrew people had been burning incense to it in worship. The symbol had eventually become an object of idolatry. See the difference?

When God gave commandments regarding idolatry he meant it to be understood in its most literal form. According to the Bible, most idolaters really believed that their idols were gods. That is not so today with Catholic Symbols." source-http://ezinearticles.com/?Catholic-Symbols---Is-it-Idolatry?&id=1822556

Just like how God commended Moses to use the Brass Serpent, we use Holy Water in Lourdes to heal thousands and thousands of people. 🙂 We also have crying statues of Mary that can not be scientifically proven. But in no means does this mean the Statue or the water itself is divine in any way. We do not worship it. But you already know that, I think:thumbsup:

Yes, Jesus did teach us God is greater then all, but what do you care what Jesus taught?? Do you care when He told us to eat His Flesh and drink His Blood to have life in us? Do you care when He told us, He is the only way to the Fahter? Do you care when He told us that He is above Abraham? No you dont. You only care what your leader Mohammad said ABOUT Jesus. But you dont care what Jesus Himself said.

you trace your believes to Mohammad my sister, and his teachings. Not what God taught us.😦

In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Salaam/peace

That’s interesting . Where Jesus (p) said so ? Pl. post the verse , thanks .
Catholics get attacked for this everyday and they are quite versed in defending this. You are answered already by Ben and hope that helps.

Statues were not forbidden per se; worshipping of statues was.

Mary was given by Jesus to his apostle John who took her to his home. We are to emulate our older brothers (the apostles, the saints) in the faith and so we too can take Mary home to our own house, our hearts.

Some of the scriptural verses:

Exodus 25 – 26, Exodus 37:7, The Israelis were commanded to make statues of Cherubims.

Numbers 21 – God commanded Moses to make a bronze snake and the people were to look up to it.

John 19:26 – 27, Mary was given to John.

Bowing down is common custom of the ancient people and it was not reserved for God only. Genesis 19:1 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.

Mohammet taught old men to marry 6 year old girls and sexually abuse them (known as thighing)?
Mohammet taught muslims to hack off people’s body parts to cause the most pain and suffering?
Mohammet taught muslims to rape women in front of their family and husbands before killing or enslaving them?
And mohammet taught muslims to always claim it was their victims fault?

I could go on. And to help you out, the answer is yes he did.

I’ll take the statues over such teaching any day.
  1. Islam teaches that marriage and marital relations are only acceptable after puberty.
  2. Islam like other legal traditions allow for cutting of hands or feet as a punishement for the individual and deterant for the society.
  3. Islam, like other contemporary traditions, allowed slavery. It was customary for a slave owner to be able to have intercourse with his female slaves. If he does have intercourse, she belongs to him permanently and cannot be sold. She basically becomes a wife. As regards your comment about husbands being present, this is a misunderstanding on your part.
  4. I am unsure what you mean in your last point.

If that’s not clear to you as to who Jesus Christ was referring to as His Father, then this one should be it:

JOHN 17:1-8

When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upward to heaven and said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you–just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him. Now this is eternal life–that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent. I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.

"I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word. Now they understand that everything you have given me comes from you, because I have given them the words you have given me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

Who do you think he was talking to?
These are surely the words of Jesus. He is different to the Father i.e. God Almighty. He is surely speaking to his God before his friends. He is addressing his God as his father.

No harm. As I told you, he did not mean that his God was his father or that he was the actual son of The God. It was only by the way of his love for God and the Love of God for him.

It is all true what he said. Nothing is wrong in it. Only you people are reading it differently.

Firstly, this confirms that Islam is not a religion, but a geo-political and social ideology with a thin veneer of religion. That thin veneer was used as propaganda to entice people in, promising them an afterlife it could not deliver, to induce them to commit the atrocities that a man, mohammet, lusted for.

Secondly, Islam, according to it’s adherents, is the divine law of their allah god - it is universal and for eternity. Effectively, it is a retrograde step in humanity’s evolution towards achieving natural law and justice for all.

Thirdly, you are confirming a point I’ve made many times elsewhere, when I ask muslims, if it’s not Islam, then why after 1400 years in many cases of Islam’s influence are Islamic cultures still so barbaric.

You points would have validity if we were only talking about historical behaviour. Unfortunately, we are not, as can be seen everyday, very openly and proudly, on the internet. Unfortunately our academia, media and politicians are politically and criminally negligent in not challenging this barbaric, neanderthal code of life and trying to not offend those who actually believe it is the height of civil behaviour.

Now, please, do not tell me about muslims living in the west who are restricted by Western law (well sort of). How people behave when they are not able to do what they believe, is not proof of how they will behave when they can.

These words could also be correct in a different sense. Not the way youread them. jesus was beloved of God before the world was created. That could be his soul only. The souls were created long ago. All souls were created long ago. Ben, please give reference of the above. I hope it is in John.

Before Abraham was, I am. Means Abraham was before. I am here now. Means forget about Abraham. See me now that I am present in front of you all Jews as a messenger of God.

The sentence: I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was I AM. is a meaning less sentence. Unless it could be modified to:

I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was I WAS.

Islam is a complete good way of life, all spiritual, full of prayers and rememberance of God with least politics. In fact there is no politics at all. Even prophet Soloman sang some songs in praise of Muhammad:

Song of Solomon 2
Beloved [a]
1 I am a rose ** of Sharon,
a lily of the valleys.
Lover
2 Like a lily among thorns
is my darling among the maidens.
Beloved
3 Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest
is my lover among the young men.
I delight to sit in his shade,
and his fruit is sweet to my taste.
4 He has taken me to the banquet hall,
and his banner over me is love.

5 Strengthen me with raisins,
refresh me with apples,
for I am faint with love.

6 His left arm is under my head,
and his right arm embraces me.

7 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you
by the gazelles and by the does of the field:
Do not arouse or awaken my love
until it so desires**.

8 Listen! My lover!
Look! Here he comes,
leaping across the mountains,
bounding over the hills.

9 My lover is like a gazelle or a young stag.
Look! There he stands behind our wall,
gazing through the windows,
peering through the lattice.

In that song, King Soloman advised his people (by an oath) not to disturb and wake up the upcoming prince of peace ( i.e. Muhammad) until he would like to wake up himself. That means do not disturb the upcoming prophet and he will not disturb the people of Soloman.

Prophets never disturb any one but rather approach to every one with love unless the people themselves make mistake of disturbing the prophet. (Please see the verse 7 colored Blue)
Secondly, Islam, according to it’s adherents, is the divine law of their allah god - it is universal and for eternity. Effectively, it is a retrograde step in humanity’s evolution towards achieving natural law and justice for all
.

Islam is a step forward in the continual search of mankind for knowledge. The present day advancement of science in the world is not due to any goodness of church. It is all because the church left off all opposition to the works of Science.

Muslims had never been backward in the past. They made their well known contributions to the world of science.
Thirdly, you are confirming a point I’ve made many times elsewhere, when I ask muslims, if it’s not Islam, then why after 1400 years in many cases of Islam’s influence are Islamic cultures still so barbaric
.

Please, do not forget the barbarism of the church and their Crusades when they ignorantly killed many christians too in Jerusalem. Also do not forget the catholic queen, Mary the bloody.

Every nation has its history and you please re-read your own history. Thanks.

Unfortunately our academia, media and politicians are politically and criminally negligent in not challenging this barbaric, neanderthal code of life and trying to not offend those who actually believe it is the height of civil behaviour.
Your people in the west, mostly christians, were living in dark ages 1000 years ago. They used to come to Andalus Islamic colleges (learning centers) for learning some kind of sciences.
Now, please, do not tell me about muslims living in the west who are restricted by Western law (well sort of). How people behave when they are not able to do what they believe, is not proof of how they will behave when they can.
Yes, western people are more civilised now. They deserve respect for being kind in some ways only, not entirely kind or just manners. There are many ignorant hate mongering people amongst them too. But mostly, they are good if they forget about their religion.

Church has come a long way to admit defeat and to reform and to remain behind the scene in every sensible law making matters. So the church people are allowed (permitted) to operate in their own small sphere. The rest of the good church activity comes from the heavy funding by the public money.

The indoctrinated mind of an adherent of Islam :- :juggle:

John 10:30

Jesus said:

“I and the Father are one”.

How differently are you now going to INTERPRET this?😃

Mohammad, a prince of peace? That’s quite a laugh. From what had been said and known of him, he was anything but a prince of peace.

Unless of course if you have any information about him that’s not known or revealed to us here. …

Prime, I believe 100 % in the wise words of Jesus who said “I and Father are one.” But does it mean what you are taking? Surely not. It would be too much simplicity to take the literal meaning.

There can be many other better meanings of what jesus said. You may explore them in the symbolic sense too. Do you believe that the Father who is sending the son, i.e. the sender and the sent are both one? How can that be? Have you ever seen in the world that there was any father and son both being one?

Jesus was found praying to the God Almighty whom he called his father. He was heard shouting and reminding something to his father when he was on the cross, nearly fainted. “Ailey Ailey…” O my Lord,O my Lord, Why have you forsaken me?" Do you believe jesus was calling himself?

If son and the Father are one then there is no Trinity. It should be Twinity. I am surprised about all the problems that christian faith has developed around itself.

Well, no Muslim would ever admit he is the Son of God would they otherwise they would not be Muslim. Countless times in the Bible it says he is the Son of God. I wish you people would actually admit that this is true.

Why Mohammed was not a prophet:
One who claims to be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert, and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claims to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad’s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. He raped the women captured in war after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have sex with their captives and their “right hand possessions” (Quran 33:50) He assassinated those who criticized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. He was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way. Muhammad was a narcissist like Hitler, Saddam or Stalin. He was astute and knew how to manipulate people, but his emotional intelligence was less evolved than that of a 6-year-old child. He simply could not feel the pain of others. He brutally massacred thousands of innocent people and pillaged their wealth. His ambitions were big and as a narcissist he honestly believed he is entitled to do as he pleased and commit all sorts of crimes and his evil deeds are justified.

Why Quran is not from God:
Muhammad produced no miracles and when pressed he claimed that his miracle is the Quran. Yet a cursory look at the Quran reveals that this book is full of errors. Quran is replete with scientific heresies, historic blunders, mathematical mistakes, logical absurdities, grammatical errors and ethical fallacies. It is badly compiled and it contradicts itself. There is nothing intelligent in this book let alone miraculous. Muhammad challenged people to produce a “Surah like it” or find an error therein, yet Muslims would kill anyone who dares to criticize it. In such a climate of hypocrisy and violence truth is the first casualty.

Well, no Muslim would ever admit he is the Son of God would they otherwise they would not be Muslim. Countless times in the Bible it says he is the Son of God. I wish you people would actually admit that this is true…
Jesus (pbuh) is NOT the only “son of God” mentioned in the Bible:

Jacob is God’s son and firstborn: “Israel is my son, even my firstborn” Exodus 4:22.

Solomon is God’s son “He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son”: 2 Samuel 7:13-14.

Ephraim is God’s firstborn: “for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.” Jeremiah 31:9 → Who is God’s firstborn – Israel or Ephraim??

Adam is the son of God “Adam, which was the son of God.” Luke 3:38.

Common people (you and me) are the sons of God: “Ye are the children of the LORD your God” Deuteronomy 14:1. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” Romans 8:14. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12. “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;” Philippians 2:15. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: … now are we the sons of God” 1 John 3:1-2. “When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” Job 38:7. “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD,” Job 2:1. “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD,” Job 1:6. “when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men,” Genesis 6:4. “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair” Genesis 6:2

And was Jesus the only begotten Son of God? (with a capital ‘S’ in the word ‘Son’ even!) … Read Psalms 2:7

"I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me (King David, King), Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee."

In John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am”
  • by invoking and applying to himself the personal name of God—“I Am” (Ex. 3:14).
Of course you have a different INTERPRETATION for these.

But I enjoy citing all of them.😛

These words could also be correct in a different sense. Not the way youread them. jesus was beloved of God before the world was created. That could be his soul only. The souls were created long ago. All souls were created long ago. Ben, please give reference of the above. I hope it is in John.]

You are right, these words could be correct in a different sense. Maybe the docetism doctrine was right after all. Jesus Christ was never truly present. He was just an “illusion”. The fact Jesus Christ was talking all of this “I Am”, “the Father and I are One”, and other things was just a crazy “doko” in the mind for the Jewish people. Or maybe it was the Jahowa Witness that understood what Jesus was saying. I think they too have their own interpretation what Jesus meant. Or… maybe Mohammad was right. Jesus wasn`t talking in literal terms, Jesus “wise” words had a whole different meaning that only he could understand and not Peter, Mark, John and other deciples who personally knew Jesus. It has to be Mohammad, the man that came 600 hundred years after Jesus Christ.

You see what youre doing here man? Youre beliving in a cult-leader. Do you not realize you`re ignoring so much more Bible verses that indicate Jesus Christ is God? Why take single verses and attempt to give them a meaning that is ONLY suitable to your believes???Think about that.
planten;4720543:
Before Abraham was, I am. Means Abraham was before. I am here now. Means forget about Abraham. See me now that I am present in front of you all Jews as a messenger of God.

The sentence: I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was I AM. is a meaning less sentence. Unless it could be modified to:

I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was I WAS.
No, titles were very important at those Aramic speaking people. The title “I Am” comes from God when He replied to Moses. “I Am what I Am”. Hence when Jesus Christ said “Amen Amen, I say to you, before Abraham was I Am” the Jews tried to stone Him, but Jesus escaped and fled. Now why would the Jews try to stone Jesus for any reason at all? It is because Jesus was claming to be God. If you attempt to reply and say, the Jews tried to kill prophets you are highly mistaken. The Jews were afraid to kill prophets out in the open because of other people that regarded men such as Jesus as men of God. The Scribes and Pharisees (I believe) attempted to sieze Jesus few times but they didnt because they were scared by the rest of the Jewish crowd. They didnt even have full courage to kill John the Baptized while he was captured and enprisoned.

First of all, it is important to remember, Harod didnt even capture John because he was a prophet, but yet he still hesitated to kill him. Mathew Chapter 14: 3. For herod had taken John, and bound him, and put him in prison, because of Heordias, his brothers wife. 4. For John had said to him, “It is not lawful for thee to have her”. 5. And he would have liked to put him to death, but he FEARED the people, because they regarded him as a prophet."

So basically my brother in Allah, you fail to explain why the Jews attempted to murder Jesus after He spoke an alleged harmless sentence. But why stop there? Let us look at what else you said:

"The sentence: I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was I AM. is a meaning less sentence. Unless it could be modified to:

I say to you, BEFORE Abraham was I WAS." Unless it could be modited to “I Was”? It dose not have to be modified, the sentence already means that. Check this out:

50I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge. 51I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death."

52At this the Jews exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that if anyone keeps your word, he will never taste death. 53Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”

54Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and keep his word. 56Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

57"You are not yet fifty years old," the Jews said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

Oh yes brother it`s true…it is VERY true. Notice how Jesus said, Your father Abraham (YOUR FATHER) rejoiced at the thought of seeing my (MY) day; he SAW it. (Not, he “will see” it) but HE SAW IT and WAS Glad.

When the Jews asked Jesus you are not even 50 years old how is it possible you could have seen Abraham? Jesus replied “I Am”. If Jesus had any OTHER explaining for what he meant, He would have surley explain it to them, but that is all said. Meaning: Jesus was alreeady saying before Abraham was “I was”.

“That could be his soul only. The souls were created long ago.” Uhm…no. You are propably refering to a verse in the Bible where it states that God created you before you were born. But you cant fit that to your limited logic. You must remember, God is NOT in bond with time. He is almighty, which means His way of things are not to be able to be comprehended with our reasonings. God dose not create a soul and then puts in a shelf and waits from someone to have intercouse. Us creations work WITH the Creator. Once we decide to produce children of our own, God through His eternal wisdom, knowledge, and Power Has something in plan. You can not say God created our souls before we existed in the womb (because God is not in bond with time) you can only say, God loved you before you were known in this world. Can anybody in this forum dare to say, God you loved me before you created Adam?? No, you cant because you are then thinking “outside” of your human nature, and are attempting to fit your logic with God`s eternal power and will. Jesus Christ also said something very importang among the line: And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I HAD with you BEFORE the world was created." He said, I had Glory with you before the world was Created. This simply means: (and no herecy can every deny this) that Jesus reigned with the Father before creation took place.

love and peace my brother, I hope you can understand and accept the teaching of the Church.

What you just said was so wrong, disturbing, and disrespectful, but with all due respect my brother, you and Muslim_Woman flat out admited there is no evidence Islam existed before Mohammad, but yet you are claming that prophet Soloman actually sang a song about Mohammad before Mohammad was even born?

you still have not answered my question.

How do Moslems get to heaven? How many prayers, fasts, sacrafices, etc…

Is the gates open or closed for Mohammed was a prophet and not the Messiah.

In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Salaam/peace
How do Moslems get to heaven?
God created heaven for those who worhip Him without taking other deities besides Him. And Muslims don’t take any diety besides one God .

.
Is the gates open or closed for Mohammed was a prophet and not the Messiah.
Muhammed & Jesus (pbut) were slaves & Messengers of God Almighty. Both of them will be in heaven by the mercy & will of God .

Surah/ Chapter 9. Repentance, Dispensation

They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah.

there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). ( Quran ; 9:31)
