A Christian worldview is completely different…
This he is saying ,he also bases on the difference between a homosexual person and the gay lobby Pope Francis also made .
It is more in context in the original interview.
Forget the headlines( which I personally find a good exercise, try and skip it…),if you wish…,Cardinal Muller didn t pick the headline…one may focus on something deeper perhaps.

That’s how I read it/see it too.
Real homophobia can and does actually exist,but at the same time there is a “gay political lobby” that labels everyone who doesn’t agree with gay marriage as being homophobic when they aren’t.
This cardinal is brave and it’s hard to be so brave today,especially here in Australia society where I am because everyone that doesn’t support gay marriage is viewed as a bigot.

Hey! Hey @Edward_H! How about you go out and befriend some bullied gay youth! Maybe that will be a little more Christ-like than essentially diminishing the suffering and alienation of perhaps one of the most vulnerable groups across the world today, and in the church.
