The “Creator” espoused by the framers of the Declaration of Independence would be foreign to most conservative Christians and Catholics. The DoI is framed from a deist point of view, not a Christian point of view. Deism states that there is a Creator…but once the Creator set the universe in motion the Creator does not interfer in it’s working and management.
Article I Section 7 of the Constitution
If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it…
Government does not do business on sunday, that is because of the Christian Sabbath. If the Framers did not share a Christian worldview why would they have given recognition to this?

Article Vll of the constitution says
Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names
This is a reference to Jesus Christ

They have rights now. They want specialness. They want to act wrongly and demand all affirm their wrongness as normal.
Now that is a weird sentence. Do you like homosexuals and homosexual acts?

How is it weird? Contrived, made up, rights are not authentic at all.
Who is suggesting they are? We make laws to enshrine rights. I know you know that.

But back to my other question - do you hate homosexuals and homosexual acts?

I do not hate anyone. Yes, I hate sinful acts which include all homosexual acts.

What right is their to perform pretend to be married?

In our country there are not performing, they will have the equal right of marriage.

Catholics can not pick and choose what they agree with and what they do not
Apparently, Catholics can…and do.
There has always been a very strong position in Catholicism that holds that the individual’s conscience, rightly informed, should be a person’s guide. The proiblem is that the Catholic Church has failed to do a very convincing job of informing consciences on modern issues. Part of the reason for this might well be that the Church has not kept up with changing cosmology.
It should be possible to make convincing arguments for the truth, and it should be possible to point out the errors when opposing arguments stray from the truth. The Catholic Church has at her disposal some of the finest minds of our age. Why are they not framing their arguments in a way that speaks to the conscience of this generation through the experience of this generation?
