You have committed wrong if you deny asylum to someone fleeing violence and send them home to be murdered. That’s just handing the dirty work off to someone else.
Is it a fact they will be killed? Honduras won’t have many citizens left if that’s the case.

Why would they need to be sent home, couldn’t they seek asylum in Mexico? They are already there.

The Jews were being systematically tortured to death and exterminated in their homelands.
After the Nazis came into power, but that didn’t come out of nowhere. Antisemitism was on the rise in Europe for decades before that, and Jews were already fleeing in large numbers. That’s why the U.S. put such strict quotas on Jews entering the country in the early '20s (using many of the same arguments people use against immigrants from Central and South America today). Those laws prevented who knows how many Jews from escaping the Nazis.
There is absolutely NO comparison between mobs of illegal immigrants demanding entry to the US and Jews fleeing for their lives with the help of the Allies.
Seems odd that so many Holocaust survivors make the comparison.

The Marxist globalists want a world without capitalism and without incentive. A world where, with a hammer and just one nail, a man can “work” all day, then go home to his squalid flat.
Of course the “intelligentsia” in academia, etc. don’t see themselves living that way, since they’ll be the ruling class.
Yep.

And it’s interesting to me that Jews somehow had valid fears of violence in their home country but people fleeing one of the most violent countries on the planet don’t.
You’re comparing the Holocaust with the violence in Latin America? Really?

Actually, pre-World War II, the USA did reject some Jews seeking asylum. There is some ship they mentioned?

That was brought up more in regards to the Syrians I believe.

I’m comparing the American response to people in need in the 1920s-1940s and the American response to people in need today, both shameful.

They can stay put and request more aid through proper channels. Trying to force their way into America as a large marching mob is flat out invasion, and invasions must be met with military force.
'Nuff said.

I gotta hand it to you, it takes guts to advocate killing thousands of unarmed migrants on a Catholic forum.

I can link you any number of online videos of what happens when “military force” is used on unarmed people but they would violate forum rules.

Y’all can see empacae’s post #255. I agree that it won’t go beyond rubber bullets. Probably not that far.
And, I didn’t call them an army. They are invaders, though, the moment they illegally cross our border.
I don’t really care what the left has to say about it. 🤣

Why should I? I don’t riot in the streets, nor do I invade other countries.

Those who break the law suffer consequences. The consequences match the offense. Invasion is an act of aggression, armed or not.
You don’t have to like it. 🤣

Another straw man. I’m going to ignore any of your further posts. Have a nice day! 😁

Working late tonight. Going to get dinner from Mohammed, the Egyptian guy with the halal food cart on the corner by my office.

Think I’ll have lamb tonight.

Seriously, any culture’s food preparation (including slaughter) and tastes may seem unpleasant, or uncouth, to another culture.

It’s just food.
