Unfortunately, bigotry will keep growing in Muslim countries as long as some Christians and ex-Christians try to engage us in fruitless disputes concerning the meaning of bigotry, ignoring the fact that acts speak louder than words!!! 😉
 
mr.angelos,you are also ex muslim like me.so you must read all quran.sura9:5,29,38,39 clearly taught that the jihad(actually killing non muslims)is very important.and its clearly teach that how should a muslim kill or get jijya tax from christian&jews!so their religion teach them violence!so is islam really a religion or the work of beast i don’t know!i just can pray JESUS SAVE UR&OUR LIFE

Huh? I’m not fluent in Arabic so how could I call someone a mere idiot because they aren’t either? My problem with the poster was that she seemed to understand the exact opposite of what I said, and I assumed that my language wasn’t clear enough. But we resolved the problem.

The poster isn’t Arabic, either, but Bangladeshi. Perhaps you don’t know but Bangladeshis aren’t Arabs. They don’t speak Arabic for the most part, either.

This post is typical of you, though. To take something I said and then imply I said something sideways of it which would match your agenda you want to prove about Muslims. Get over it, already.

Believe me - there is so many other things that she will prove what muslims are all about! She already has in many respects - the ‘moderates’ are actively bringing in sharia law and ignoring our laws, they wail and whine when we know islam and all its nuances, etc.

You can say this or that about sister amy - but she choses time and again to post on a Catholic website and represent muslims and when we call her on it - the whine that she is a not a representative of islam. She is certainly not a ‘moderate’, so what is she doing? She is doing what all muslims are told they must do - jihad. And deception of islam is jihad and the support of jihadists is also commanded of them.

Muslims can say polygamy and wife beating are an honor to women, but Muslims cannot compare their teachings to other teachings or culture and claim superiority because if you ask any woman on this board if polygamy and beating are an honour, am sure all will think you are joking. So a Muslim woman can find all the excuses she wants for polygamy and wife beating, but non-Muslims who are not OBLIGED to believe these are from God have a different opinion.

i am a muslim male.25 years old.but friends hope i will explain you day by day that islam is not only violent for women but also for men.as i am a man but i suffered cause of islamic bigotry.but i can’t share it in a day.but i didn’t want to be a fanatic thats why my parents specially my father abused me though i am his elder son.many story in my life.but i think i can’t share it in a day.thanks.jesus bless all of ur.AMEN

actually sister amy i am searching an option.i want to leave bangladesh forever.but it will tak maybe up to 3 years.then i will reveal myself.maybe you are different.don’t want to kill who leave islam.but maximum muslim do that.&my family and relatives are salafist!so they are dangerous for me.very dangerous.jesus save me from them.AMEN

I haven’t once tried to “excuse” wife beating or polygamy. I have explained both in the Islamic context–you aren’t referring to that context, but you refer to the abuse of both against women. Neither of which is permissible in the Islamic context.

yes brother injesus our food is really very nice.but if you will give me 2 option the nice bangladeshi food or my life wat is more favourite to me,honestly speaking i will choice my life.cuz my life is very favourit to me.i don’t want to eat delicious bangladeshi food but i want alive.cuz here my life will be in serious trouble if they will know about my conversion to christianity!
 
There’s a couple places around here where you can get Bangladeshi food. Best is from the Bangladeshis themselves… but you could come here, blend in, nobody would know your history, nobody would care. 🤷

I’m eating Bangladeshi food tonight. MmmmMmmm. 👍

Amy, i understand what you were saying more than you could imagine. The Islamic context simply does not solve the problem UNLESS you are obliged to believe these are the words of God. If i have different teachings from God, i will not *instinctively *come to the same conclusion.

If sharing another man/woman in your life is normal, if the feelings are normal, no relationships and no marriages would have ended because of it…same goes for wife beating…if wife beating is ok, if men beating is ok, no one would be insulted to his bones if someone raised his hand to even slap him…both go beyond our feelings and dignity, unless we are OBLIGED to believe otherwise, but thank God, none were taught by Jesus but the opposite was taught, this is why no Islamic context will make them honourable in our eyes.

Of all the nationalities we\ve got in here, am not aware of any Bandladeshi, nor any Bangladeshi restaurants…but i’ll keep it in mind :cool:
