Hi BlackCatholic,
I have grown up attending all sorts of Protestant sevices and singing all sorts of music at from classical to black gospel.
I happen to love the Tridentine mass because it exemplifies to me a state of reverence I have not seen anywhere else. It seems to me to be the closest example of what heaven will be like.
However, I have seen it said many times on this forum., this is not how Europeans worship or Americans worship.

DOMINUS VOBISCUM, TRUE LIGHT. Uhhhh re Not how Americans worship, If I might, Amercian as they come, great great grandmom Cherokee, had one ancestor (don’t like him) fought in the Revolution ,a couple fought for the confederacy and I’m Black. One ancestor killed Massa in Queenie Wood Georgia and ran to Cincy, where many of my family is from (and hence the St. Joseph connection).
Since some of my ancestors been here for nearly thousands of years before the European Homesless got here, and others were kidnapped, I submit I am as American as they come. We in the Black catholic rite don’t worship by ethinicity. We worship Lord God Almighty according to ,“Leet every thing that hath breath, praise the Lord!” Our heavenmight not be so quiet. (Indeed our entrance antiphon, processional at St. Brigid, and many Black catholic Churches in the US and elsewhere is by Speaking Drums!
Let me share our (Black)Bishop Perry’s remarks on BLACK CATHOLIC WORSHIP, since it IS HARD–I recognize-- for European heritage Catholics to understand:

He states in pertinent part,“A universal Roman rite means unity in essentials and diversity in cultural accent. The Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) set two conditions for admitting elements from various cultures into the liturgy. …”

All in all the one holy Catholic (means universal) and apostolic church is the Church of many tribes. We humbly submit, we are NOT ALL EUROPEANS, nor wish to be, nor wish to follow that paradigm. We are going to worship THE AMIGHTY GOD according to our respective cultures (not according to some European grupehnfuruer (sp?) dictate. The time for colonialism, strong arm and spiritual is over. (Folks kinda forget that Yeshua grew up in Africa for six or seven years until Herod was no more–AND THERE WAS NO NORTH AFRICA on any ancient Roman, Greek, nor even Ottoman Turk maps–a colonialist concept. (Roman maps did show TWO Africans, however). I leave you with a taste of what the Church is doing in, say Democratic People’s Republic of the Congo)

Our Catholic brethren in Papua New Guinea and Fiji are like unto it. ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH, LIFTING UP THE NAME OF THE LORD IN EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION. Our reverence is a little different that European reverence.( I believe the Good Book indicates we are to worship the Lord with our whole hearts, our whole minds, our whole souls. Add to that our whole beings).

Chorale de l’église du Sacré Coeur à Kinshasa
Our former pastor now deceased Fr. Fernando Aritzi SJ was assigned from our St. Brigid, Los Angeles, parish. He indicated that at the Benin, Africa parish to which he was re-assigned, folks walked miles to get to mass. With 3000-- 5000 parishioners worshipers per mass not being uncommon, and back to back liturgies.
