that is very degrading…my husband would never say something like this outside our bedroom to anyone…would it not have been just as easy to say “my wife is very beautiful”

I have to disagree, my parents have been married 41 years and my dad has never said “my wife is hot” he may say, my wife is beautiful, awesome, wonderful, pretty, intelligent, amazing, just as wonderful as the day I met her etc. and to me that is so awesome.I think it’s so sweet that after being married for 20 years you still think of your wife as HOT. She’s a lucky woman!
I agree… asking the kids to bunk with you is a fine idea. Maybe the dog as well?
Also, Anthony… did you ever notice that it’s typically the people without ANY kids that say… what’s wrong with having 7 or 8 ???

So what you want to know is what you can do during her fertile times? You can use NFP or you can have marriage relations and if you become pregnant so be it…if your asking…if you can use birth control becuase you just simply can’t not have relations during her fertile times but you don’t want more kids for whatever your reasons the Catholic church is very clear, no birth control, NFP only so that should answer your question.
no clue. makes no sense to me. My guess is that it is a protestant who wants to convert or “reform” Catholics. Perhaps they assume that the Reformation was an improvement, whereas we see it as an act of “throwing out the baby with the bathwater.”
