Well, my dh says even half way through this pregnancy with what we hope will be our 8th child that his wife is hot. Nothing degrading in that to me at all. Don’t know if he would use that term in the presence of others. Can’t think why he would be discussing it with anyone. Closest I can come up with is he might say it to me in the presence of others. Never noticed if he has before… hmmm. Wouldn’t bother me. It’s just another way of saying he thinks I’m beautiful and attractive to him.
**As for the “reform” comment… there was a really big smiley in the title line. I think all they meant by it was it was a very Catholic comment, a good one, that isn’t really heard from Catholics much anymore. It shows you are not a cafeteria catholic or a “reformed” catholic. (There are some catholics that strongly think this is an area of faith that needs reforming in the church.)

What to do about a too hot situation? If there is geniune health concerns - think what your actions could do to your wife’s health. That would certainly do it for my own dh.
**As for already having 6 and being in your 40’s - that’s not an issue, imo. Of course, I say that as a 32 yr old woman pregnant with her 8th in less than 11 years.

**This may be a time to reconsider how strongly you both feel about the health/number of children issue?? Many people look at these times as maybe God more forcefully speaking to them on this matter. He has a way of bringing us around to seeing His way for us despite ourselves and worldly concerns is would seem at times.
