So far, Trump has not sold another 20% of American uranium to Russia … you know like Hillary did. Uranium One. “Clinton Cash” – the book. Maybe even the movie.
Presumably you are aware of the fact that the truth of the matter is vastly different than what you have posted here. Why the fake?

Democrats claim ‘treason,’ but the law says otherwise
If you haven’t heard about this by now, you’ve been living under a rock. Let me break it down for you.
Last summer, Donald Trump Jr. took a meeting with someone who claimed to have information on his father’s then opponent, Hillary Clinton. Nothing came from the meeting, it ended shortly later and there was no follow-up. President Trump only recently learned of the meeting.
After this story came out, former vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine and others were quick to argue that this could potentially be a treason case due to the fact that the woman who met with Donald Trump Jr. may have ties to the Russian government.
Sen. Kaine and others may have gone to law school, but their political prejudices have clearly become quick to cloud their rational legal judgments.
Let’s take a deeper look at treason, which a very serious and rare offense, and why Donald Trump Jr. cannot and will not be charged with this federal offense.
Treason is the only crime listed in the United States Constitution and can carry a penalty as serious as death. The last time someone in the United States was convicted of treason was over 50 years ago and only a handful of people in the history of our nation have ever been charged.
Now, let’s look at the full text of the treason statute, which is found in 18 U.S.C. § 2381.
“Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”
Look directly at what the law requires for someone’s actions to rise to the level of treason.
1- One must owe allegiance to the United States AND
2- Levy war against the United States OR
3- Adhere to enemies of the United States, giving them aid or comfort within the United States or elsewhere
Donald Trump Jr. did not levy war against the United States. He did not give aid or comfort within the United States or elsewhere to our countries enemies. There is absolutely no rational basis to claim that he committed treason against the United States of America, but Sen. Kaine and others continue to rattle off their baseless claims.
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), “This is moving into perjury, false statements and even into potentially treason.”
Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA), “If this isn’t treasonous, I’m not sure what is.”
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), “Trump Jr. was willing to betray US to cheat for his Dad’s campaign.”
It’s time for the hysteria to stop. Democrats can keep claiming treason, but the law will continue to say otherwise.

And I think Trump is doing remarkably well considering the obstruction he is up
against.
I’m sure his supporters said the same thing when his casinos were failing and he was cheating on his first wife.

Trump enjoys it when his opposition loses their minds.

When you’re losing your case, be sure to mention Bill or Hillary.

Did it ever occur to you that you are wrong?
All the time. That is why I fact check before posting, rather than just posting off the top of my head.

The idea that Hillary sold 20% of American uranium to Russia is just wrong.

This is a joke. I saw an interview with the Democratic Senator that filed the article. He said that he knew this was going nowhere, but wanted to put pressure on Trump.

I saw the interview too.

The democrats deserve to lose every election from now on.

In my opinion, Trump has only one virtue. He’s not Hillary. I say let the democrats impeach him and get a real president in office. Pence would be much better in my opinion. On the other hand, I believe government that does the least is best. So one virtue of Trump is that he has accomplished so little.
I agree that Pence would be a better president than Trump. I also think that impeaching trump would be a huge policy and political mistake for the Democrats. It will not only put a more capable man in office who might actually implement policies the Democrats hate, but the Democrats will pay a political price in blowback due to an impeachment. The impeachment talk is red meat for their base, but is at a minimum distasteful to the moderates and outright repugnant to the right.

I think the Democrats don’t realize how good they have it. It would be much, much worse under Pence for them. But they seem so blinded by their outrage over Hillary’s loss that they keep stepping in “it”.

So far the impeachment process has worked to distract them from pursuing their agenda. Pence may or may not become the next President during this administration but by then the Democrats may have rounded up enough support to defeat the Republican agenda, or whatever’s left of it.

Only because the Republican leadership is spineless. They should just roll their eyes at this nonsense and continue to get the work done.

The Republicans are about as organized as the Democrats. They are both like chickens with their heads cut off.

It is really sad that the red meat being thrown to the Dems base is playing on the ignorance of their voters who lap up everything that is said in that vein without the remotest concept of that constitutes an impeachable offense. Sad, sad.

Time will tell whether they’ll be worse off for going through the process.

So far they’ve won only a baseball game.

As a Californian suffering under the criminal Jerry Moonbeam Brown regime, all I need to see is (D-Calif.) to know what nonsense this is–and from Brad Sherman of Sherman Oaks, happy home for many Hollywood Marxists.
I’m sure bat guano crazy traitor Maxine Waters will be the first to applaud.

Oh was Arnold better?

Arnold is a fake conservative. If you want to draw historical comparisons, though, Ronald Reagan was infinitely better.
Jerry Brown took advantage of a loophole to serve two additional, illegitimate terms, That loophole is now closed, though the damage is done and Brown has proceeded with his assault on innocent California school children.

Why? It’s not like there won’t still be a Republican president - it’ll just be Pence instead. Not that’s he’s not awful in his own special way, but at least I won’t have to worry about our president triggering WWIII.
WWIII? Really?

There’s nothing like drama.

How so? Most of the people I know had to send their kids to private schools because the CA schools where in bad shape under Republican governors. I really don’t know much past that.

Coming from the horse’s mouth so to speak:

From the link below it is reported that Comey wrote in a letter to his agents and friends that

“I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI director for any reason, or for no reason at all,”

thehill.com/policy/national-security/fbi/332876-comey-a-president-can-fire-an-fbi-director-for-any-reason

It stand to reason that with this acknowledgement from Comey a petition filed for Trump’s impeachment will go nowhere.

A search for this news item produced a list from many popular and well=known news sources that confirms that what Comey said is true, among these sources: NBC, freebeacon, CNN, PBS NewsHour: News, Analysis, Top Headlines, Live Coverage
