How and why would anyone choose Hell if they are given the option to live eternally In Heaven with a loving God forever?

The question is:
Can be the good what God draws out from evil and sin everlasting suffering in the pains of hell???

I believe, the good is our holiness and heaven.

I also believe, if the good would be hell, then God would make a monumental mistake by permitting evil and sin.
.
Can anyone believe the good would be hell?
The ‘good’ which God brings from evil leaves the guilty who caused the evil. Should the guilty man go to heaven for his unrepentant evil? That would be a tremendous injustice, and we worship a just God.

Therefore, perfect justice demands that punishment be eternal exactly as reward in heaven is eternal for the righteous.

And, should we ever arrive in heaven, we will then appreciate every attribute of God, including the perfection of His love, of His mercy, and of his justice.

Thus, comprehending the perfection of His justice, we will be at peace, knowing that souls in hell are evidence of God’s perfect justice.

Radical? I don’t think so, as there will be no weeping, no sadness in heaven.

Latin - why do we pray for the dead? Can our prayers aid those that led an immoral, prideful life?

From what some of the saints who have been able to see the judgement have said, they can’t stand the sight of God and are so fearful of his justice that they want to go anywhere to be away from him. And only hell offers that.

Ok, I’m new to this website so if I’ve made any mistakes posting this I’m sorry!

I’ve been Catholic for a while and am quite familiar with the faith. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get my question across clearly, but I will try. Recently I’ve been wondering (and also felt quite distressed at this thought):
If someone is given the option to live forever in Heaven with God and knows fully that Heaven is good, why would they choose Hell? I have heard that there are souls in Hell. And I know that in order to attain Heaven, you must freely choose God. 1. In order to wholly love someone, don’t you need to fully know them? And 2. If someone fully knew and understood the goodness of Heaven (and God, if that is possible), why would they choose Hell?

I know that people go to Hell because they choose it over God. But anyone in their right minds (which is required to make a good/bad choice, right?) would choose good.

Were Adam & Eve in their right minds when they went against the will of God? Yes. God removed them from paradise

Do people who deliberately commit mortal sin, in their right minds? They would have to make their argument

If sin was NOT attractive in any way, it could be argued that people wouldn’t commit sin. sin is a test. God is saying can you love ME more that these (name the sins).

It’s like when God says

"today I give you life and death blessings and curses, choose life" [Dt 30]

Does God really have to finish that statement like that? Yes. Because sin is a choice. Believe it or not people with the choice in front of them, to choose, they choose deadly sin over life and blessings.

So if there are people that live with an un-Christian lifestyle and don’t fully understand the concept of Heaven/Hell, would they still go to Hell? Wouldn’t your responsibility for doing something wrong be less? I have heard that we can’t fully know God. So how can we fully choose him?

(I recently was very distressed at the thought of being separated from God forever or being in Heaven but having my family member(s) be in Hell. That’s when I wondered how and why someone could choose Hell, especially if we humans can’t possibly love God wholly and choose him. If I am wrong, let me know. This is just stuff I’ve heard from other sources. I am trying to understand and come to terms with my fears.)
We can’t remove free will that God gave us. He made us to be able to make informed and correct choices.

Thank you for your questions Eve3.
.
According to Catholic teachings:

As long as someone alive and even leading an immoral prideful life, prayers are helpful.

After death if died in the state of grace and went to purgatory, prayers are helpful, shortens the time in purgatory.

If he obtained a plenary indulgence just before he died, he went instantly to heaven in heavenly glory.
.

We are all sinners, we cannot save ourselves, our salvation is God’s UNDESERVED FREE GIFT.
.

Matt.19:25-26; When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
.

As we see above, only God can save us and our salvation is His gift.
.
With God all things are possible, if God’s will is to save only one person, then one person saved.

If God’s will is to save everyone, then everyone saved, with God all things are possible.

I know God’s will is to save everyone, so I believe the will of God will be done and God saves everyone.

There is song I believe that says Amazing Grace(my chains are gone) how sweet the sound, they once were lost but now are found. If their chains are gone its because they have seen what they need to do and are doing it. The kingdom of God is not God beating down on them because they are sinners, but trying to show them the Righteous path. For you see God cannot have a “only good one” premise, without creating a world full of evil (dichotomy intended). I believe in some denominations it is frowned upon to say the name or show the face of God, but you can tell what they would be like, no prejudices please, for let he who has no sin cast the first stone. For many seraph may have stepped up to the throne, only to find that the wages of sin are death, and God is Just.
I have watched this Enoch video soo many times :).

At the beginning it says:
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world John 4:4
Well Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is God that helping you, than the sinners that are in the world.
What if God did not tell Enoch about living at the End, but showed him with their own Eyes, telling them, before they proceeded to heaven without death?

I don’t think G-d would remove His grace of fortification at such a time. In fact, I believe the opposite is more likely to occur.

Here’s the words to amazing grace

The lyrics to the song are hopeful.
