So a lesbian being raped isn’t really okay but it’s more understandable/acceptable than a woman who is straight?Yep!

I submitted to Christ with no reservations with the agreement that I would not hide any of my sins and would repent frequently and while the temptations remained for some time,In Mark I a leper was healed and he went about proclaiming what Jesus did for him so we can be assured he talked in the first person.
Also, in the Pauline Epistles St. Paul frequently speaks in the first person about his experiences and what God has done for him and he is one of the most humble apostles.
I recommend you rethink your understanding of pride and use the Bible as your guide.
I never stated I saved myself, on the contrary. Nonetheless for the record Jesus Christ saved me.So it’s not God doing the actual saving, its you
I never stated this, on the contrary that’s why I said it was a miracle. Nonetheless for the record Jesus Christ gave me the ability to not let temptations affect me.And it’s your strength, not actually God’s
The Bible tells us we must grow in our faith. We should not also feel envious that God has done something great for someone because He has plenty of that to go around if we are willing to believe.Yes, you’re not a child so you can’t possibly have self-esteem. That’s for people who are less mature (spiritually and/or mentally) than yourself.
No.If the actors can’t be separated from the act then it would follow that heterosexual usage of anal and/or oral sex does not increase the risk of spreading STDs and that celibate homosexuals somehow spread STDs without actually engaging in sexual acts.
I think I saw a study showing that promiscuity was equal between straight men & women. As for homosexual men being more promiscuous than homosexual women, the same is true for heterosexual men and women.
Promiscuous men increase the risk of spreading disease.Or are you claiming that promiscuous heterosexual men don’t increase the risk of spreading STDs because they are heterosexual?
Doesn’t say anything about homosexual women/lesbiansNope. From here:
Actually it doesn’t stand to reason. Please present these “studies” you speak of. Stands to reason that you’re pulling ideas out of thin air.No.
Anal and oral sex is unnatural and spreads disease. It would be impossible for any celibate individual to spread disease. If they did…they wouldn’t be celibate.
The fact remains that the spread of STDs is at the epidemic level within the gay community. Whatever they are doing, anal, oral, or shaking hands…something is wrong and people are dying. The rate of disease is much lower the heterosexual community. They are doing something right.
I think I saw a study showing that promiscuity was equal between straight men & women.
I will have to check it before I refute you on this.
Promiscuous men increase the risk of spreading disease.
According to the studies homosexual men have the highest rate of promiscuity. Stands to reason that homosexual men spread the most disease.
I agree!WOW!!! That’s wayyyyyyyyy cold!
It doesn’t need to as it is referring to all women.Doesn’t say anything about homosexual women/lesbians
Glad to…Actually it doesn’t stand to reason. Please present these “studies” you speak of. Stands to reason that you’re pulling ideas out of thin air.
Heterosexual vs. Homosexual relationship statistics
1.Duration of Relationship:
Heterosexuals: 66 percent of first marriages last ten years or longer, with fifty percent lasting twenty years or longer.
Male Homosexuals: In a survey of 7,862 homosexuals, only 15 percent describe their current relationship as having lasted twelve years or longer, with five percent lasting more than twenty years. “Typical gay city inhabitants spend most of their adult lives in ‘transactional’ relationships, or short-term commitments of less than six months.”
- Promiscuity
Heterosexuals: Average of four lifetime partners. A nationally survey found that 77 percent of married men and 88 percent of married women had remained faithful to their marriage vows.
family research council: frc.org/get.cfm?i=IS04C02
Male Homosexuals: **The average male homosexual has 50 lifetime partners and as many as hundreds of sex partners. Bell and Weinberg found that 43 percent of white male homosexuals had sex with 500 or more partners, with 28 percent had one thousand or more sex partners. Most homosexual men understood sexual relations outside the relationship to be the norm and viewed adopting monogamous standards as an act of oppression. **
Your “wise poster” is wrong. To quote a wise poster:
What a ridiculous statement!! The rate of HIV infection among African Americans is 8 times that of Whites. Do you similarly condemn marriage among African Americans as supporting the spread of disease? I certainly hope not. Ironically, supporting a strong marriage culture among homosexuals and thus promoting more commitment and less promiscuity would cause the rate of HIV and other STDs to go down, not up. Your original question is clearly homophobic and an obvious attempt to equate homosexuality with disease. It is the combination of promiscuity and unsafe sex that cause the spread of STDs, not homosexuality itself.
I am shocked! It doesn’t need to as it is referring to all women.
Bell and Weinburg’s study is more than 36 years old. Can’t you come up with any more recent statistics than those? I’m sure that there are a lot more gay men in monogamous relationships some of whom are married than what there were in 1978.Male Homosexuals: The average male homosexual has 50 lifetime partners and as many as hundreds of sex partners. Bell and Weinberg found that 43 percent of white male homosexuals had sex with 500 or more partners, with 28 percent had one thousand or more sex partners. Okay, if you’re going to do that (deliberately?) obtuse thing you did on a previous thread I’m not playing.I am shocked!
We have been told by posters on this forum that lesbians simply do not transmit STD’s
Glad to…
Your “wise poster” is wrong.
There is no evidence that gay marriage will end homosexual “cruising”. Not all gays will or want to “marry”.
If it was a combination of promiscuity and unsafe sex that cause the spread of STDs the rates of infection between the straight and gay community would not be so drastic.
Then again, remember which community has the highest rate of promiscuity and unsafe sex.
While the question may appear homophobic to a gay activist, the answer remains true…homosexuality does indeed cause harm.
So they actually do transmit diseases?I am shocked!
We have been told by posters on this forum that lesbians simply do not transmit STD’s
Actually if you bother to read what other posters actually wrote instead of what you assume they wrote you’d find that your above statement is incorrect.I am shocked!

Do you have any evidence that doesn’t come from a hate group of anything you’ve discussed? Virtually every word the FRC says has been thoroughly debunked, as they have no methodological integrity with respect to their studies. They fake studies then use the “results” to incite violence against gay people.Glad to…

Absolutely not.The church teaching is that homosexuality spreads disease ???
How can one be celibate and believe that homosexual practice is wrong but defend this disorder so aggressively? Why do you cling to your sin?Do you have any evidence that doesn’t come from a hate group of anything you’ve discussed? I’ll wait on reports of supposed non-monogamy from an actual, real researcher with sound methodology. I have a feeling I’ll be waiting a long time, since you’re just completely wrong.
