Bahman:
I meant the outcome of action of a being with neutral nature has to be neutral. You can expect any good and evil from them.
Neutrality is just the lack of anything inherently good or evil. While free will in itself has no moral value, it permits the departure from neutrality.

Bahman:
I think it is quite irrational to create a neutral being. A quality of being that its outcome is neutral. It does completely lack any purpose in being and in creation.
God couldn’t have made us good from the start. It’s a contradiction in terms.

Bahman:
Without concept of good and evil we can never exercise our free will. Evil is not outcome of our free will it is something intrinsic, as intrinsic as good, absence of one make another a neural quality and vise versa.
The concepts of good and evil are automatically known to all beings with free will, because just by virtue of having free will they experience both temptation and natural law.
Also, was “neural” a typo? Did you mean “neutral”? Cause that would make a lot more sense.

Thank you very much for you long post.

I choose this forum since I know I share some concepts, like God, self, etc with others.

You offered some Church teaching but I have the problem with those teaching from very starting. I don’t believe that God created Heaven and earth at first place as there is a long story for creation of our universe and Earth is not one of the early creation but very late one.

I was open to a few Gods but unfortunately non of them could possibly provide me a self-consistent picture of God and creation so I left them aside.
What do you mean in your belief that God did not created Heaven and earth?

Do you mean that Earth was created long after the creation of other universes, or galaxies, or planets?

What Gods have you been open to… or what Gods did you place a bit of time exploring the possibility of meeting your ideas of God and creation?

Free will cannot take them from a neutral state to evil or good state without having evil and good a potential within. Just think that how a evil or good wish could came out of a neutral state of mind without any intrinsic evil and good potential.
The concepts of good and evil are automatically known to all beings with free will, because just by virtue of having free will they experience both temptation and natural law.
That I agree. On top of that beings are also have the potential do evil and good. That means beings are created with good and evil.

I mean that God create universe and earth is one of the planet that appear at very late age of universe, so earth could not be created at the starting since there was no space to embed earth within. You can read more here: hawking.org.uk/the-origin-of-the-universe.html
Do you mean that Earth was created long after the creation of other universes, or galaxies, or planets?
Earth it comes to exist long time after creation of universe.

That means that our mind should reach to a specific state at which evil action exist there are a potential, so our inner mind could recognize the presence of evil thought and act accordingly, namely either resist it using free will or release it. The main question is what is the original source at which this state of mind arose from (it couldn’t arise from nothing)?
Precisely! The most reasonable explanation is that mind is a fundamental reality. The astonishing success of science demonstrates the immense creative power of independent thought and imagination.

The Church teaches God created the universe.

The Church teaches God created the planet Earth.

Who teaches that the Earth was created at the “start”?

By “start” what do you mean?

Free will does have potential for both good and evil. The risk involved is just worth it.

Earth was not created bu was formed from dust.
While you state the Earth was not created but was formed from dust, the Catholic Church does not distinguish how creation took place. If one believes that the earth was formed (created, made) from dust - that can be in agreement with the teachings of the Church - provided this forming is from God. How God formed the Earth does not matter - from dust - or other way of forming. Thus, the teaching remains - God created the planet Earth.

“Earth was formed from dust” is acceptable in the Catholic faith.

Earth was created with Heaven were created together based on verse I posted.
Please post the verse that you are referring that teaches Earth and Heaven were created together and the source of the verse? Is this a Bible verse? Let’s look at the verse together and discuss our thoughts on this verse.

When there was nothing else but God.
You are saying there was a time when there was only God. I agree.

The Church does not teach Heaven and Earth were created at the same point in “time”. So, it is possible we agree once more.

Discussing the verse that you believe says Heaven and planet Earth were created at the same time will be helpful.

I disagree on the technicality that God is non-temporal.
