How do I know if I'm born again?

Been watching this from the begginning. I leanred alot, and I thank everyone who’s put up a good fight. Made me cherish and understand my faith even more.🙂

To say “I know that I am born again” sounds like you believe you will never have a crisis of faith. I hope you don’t, but you really should work your salvation out in fear and trembling like St Paul says to.

This is a cop-out. I had a profound change when I was “born again,” but after my friend died I rejected God and became a strong atheist. You are under the delusion that you will never have this happen to you. There is no way for you to know.

But, it is not the first time that a OSAS Protestant has made this convenient claim that the person who disavows Christianity was never saved in the first place. If it is true, then no one can claim an assurance of salvation, because they would not know if their experience was a “true” experience. The only way to find out it wasn’t is after you have fallen.

Work out your salvation in fear and trembling.

IT IS CHRIST and as soon as my hubby accepts that he will be joing me in heaven:D AMEN!!
His baptism did not save him at all. I can say that if my hubby were to die today(God forbid) he would not be going to heaven. That makes me very sad but it is true and my prayer for him and my son is that God not take them until He has saved them.😃

just do your best.by the way, you dont get “saved”. theres simply no such thing in that manner that you can do on earth. its about a life time of desicions toward god. and remember, catholic faith teaches forgiveness even on the death bed, he could repent in his last seconds.

You implied it because you believe that someone with a born again experience won’t revert because of their profound change. I was born again, had a profound changed and later turned atheist.
