And I just made a paper airplane that entertained me for a few seconds before I crumpled and threw it in the trash.
Maybe I was created to help one of his favorites, or act as a task for that person or even an obstacle or impediment. Then, tossed aside unless I’m “needed” and pulled out of the trash.
You do realize that the moment God does that you cease to exist, right?
And do you really think (oh my goodness,
THINK!) that somebody who DIED for you (as Monica4316 said in that post) would DO that to you?
sigh All this self-pity, all this
despair…you (and others here who think like this) will NEVER learn the joy of heaven if you continue like this.
Do you want to see the true way of finding joy, of knowing God’s love? I point you to none other than BobCatholic here. Read his past posts of months ago and compare them to his posts now. I will let them speak for themselves how BobCatholic changed, in that realizing that heaven is meant to be
assaulted, not waited upon.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence,
and the violent bear it away. (Matthew 11:12)
Christians are meant to read Jesus’ Good News, then pick up that Gospel and go to Jesus, show it to Him and say, with the spirit of humble audacity, “Lord, You said these promises, right? Well, here I am, and I am willing to pay any price for them.”
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it." (Matthew 13: 44-46)
Desolation, extreme sadness, when seemingly God has turned away from you, is
not an excuse to stop assaulting heaven. Indeed, this is the time to step up the attack!
And Jesus went away from there and withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and cried, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon.”
But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.” And he answered, “It is not fair to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered her, “
O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly. (Matthew 15:21-28)
So how do you overcome the idea that God doesn’t care? Prove that God does care:
assault heaven by making a leap of faith.
Faith is like a parachute: only when you jump will you feel it support you. DO something that you have been afraid of doing, and trust in the Lord.
