If you are going to refute something (in your case the doctrine of purgatory), the you should know what the doctrine is all about or else you are making a laughing stock of yourself.
So find out first what we really mean by this doctrine, and then you will be better able to speak about it and hence debunk our claims.

I see we have a problem here. We are talking about CHRISTIANITY right?. So, anything outside of Christ’s teachings, as only written in the Bible is not christianity !
I’ve not veered into another tangent. I only went there to tell you that if I am to accomodate your purgatory, I will also be obliged to accomodate that wisdom imputing ceremony. Because BOTH are outside of Biblical Scripture.
