How is the weather y'all?

91F, isolated thunderstorms in the forecast. Then again, it is the deep southern US in June.
 
The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal are just to our east and are merging with a cold front from the west. Gonna be a rough, wet night in my little corner of God’s Kingdom. Tornado watch, high wind warning, and a flash flood watch already posted. The plus side is that the very hot, humid weather of the past few days will be replaced with cooler and drier weather starting tomorrow.
 
That’s why I dislike hot weather so much. If it’s cold I can just add more layers, and can make a nice outfit with them. With hot weather there’s only so much I can take off before I just give up and stay inside.
 
We’re in the low 50s up here. It’s raining, cold, overcast – typical “June gloom”. Good for keeping my garden irrigated, but lousy for trying to work in it. On top of that, it gets really windy. Soggy and windy. Nice!
 
The interwebs says mostly cloud, what it fails to mention, is that it is pouring down rain.

Your prayers are very effective! Just one pretty intense thunderstorm and plain old showers after that. Not the Armageddon that was forecast, at least in my neck of the woods.

It’s started to rain a lot. Now instead of just being hot it’s now hot and wet.
I’m glad to be back in the states but Midwestern weather is insane.

Well, I mean, tornadoes, blizzards, floods, all in the same day. Now, to be far, as not like we don’t have some of that in the south. It is 73F, almost 2 am, here in SC.
 
The hot humid weather has been replaced by colder drier air.

Enjoying the beautiful weather.

Sunny but not hot or humid.

Perfect summer day.

Praying to God that it lasts.

Purchased more sweet strawberries at the market today.

Tonight the weather is pretty mild but it’s been freezing for the past week or two (greetings from the southern hemisphere). Probably not that cold in the big scheme of things, I’m used to hot weather and haven’t experienced real cold in my life to be honest but it’s enough to make me wear thick stockings, a cardigan under my jacket, and a scarf.

On the plus side we got some decent rain yesterday. It’s been a while so that’s always great.
 
My brother-in-law worked some of the big wildfires many years ago. Nasty and unpredictable. Pray you stay safe.
