How is this even possible?

I just think that there are two sides to this whole thing, either you go along with the mainstream media, or not ( I don’t trust the media at all). Honest question because that is what they are talking about.

And yes admittedly a bad post earlier, though I still believe it to be man made.

Idk, a pandemic seems pretty indiscriminate to me. Unless we’re talking about whatever Deep State crockery you’re trying to drum up. Or vaccinations. You’re jumping all over the place and it’s very hard to keep up.

You linked to Snopes though?

Who is they and what are they talking about? If you mean vaccinations, then I say go for it, because medicine is good for you and getting a virus sucks. If you mean the latest government fiasco in managing Covid, I say it’s yet another mistake to add to the administration’s ever-growing pile.
If you’re still in this man-made Coivd theory, I say it’s a load of hogwash that reeks of an 8chan conspiracy theory.

Excluding the fact that almost every expert disagrees with this, what would any country have to gain by starting a global pandemic? Their reward is dead citizens and an economy on lockdown.

Dude, Communism doesn’t care about dead citizens…to that I would point to Russia and China in the past century. An economy on lock-down creates a strategic/economic advantage especially if the lock-down is pushed to the point of economic collapse.

As for the Vaccines, you don’t see any problem with a mandatory vaccine? We live in a country based on basic human rights and freedom. Mandatory kinda goes against that…whether or not its good for you is a different issue.

The whole “man made” comes down to semantics IMO because if it originated from the Wuhan lab whether by animal or not it still is essentially engineered.

Fair point.

Please explain how a near-collapse is an advantage. As I recall, in 2008 the financial system nearly collapsed and that proved to be a disaster.

Yeah, and I’m not letting you give an immuno-compromised kid measles. Shouldn’t that kid be free to walk around without fear of catching a preventable disease?

It’s not a lab-made virus.

Its a near collapse right now. To explain how this creates an advantage its no news that China and the US are the two biggest powers in the world today. Even if the Chinese only made a dent in the American economy it would be worthwhile for them. Remember when everyone used to talk about China potentially surpassing the US as the global economic power? Suddenly Trump gets elected and nobody talks about that because he started boosting our economy. Its no surprise to me that with an election coming up making China’s #1 political enemy (Trump) look bad enough to lose the election (and his economic plan to boot) would be their priority.

Nobody said anything about measles…this is about a mandatory COVID vaccine. Which if you haven’t seen the video that got banned on social media from two California Doctors saying that the disease had somewhere around a 0.016% death rate. Why in the world would a disease with that low of a death rate need to be mandatory? It doesn’t make sense.

It is also further suspect that if that statistic is the truth (and those two doctors have something like 25 years experience EACH) where Fauci hasn’t seen a patient in like 20 yrs…why is the vaccine so essential, and why would social media ban it in the first place? I would suggest that there are other factors at play here, which are not to the benefit of the American people.

At the very minimum one side (liberal media) is severely censoring the argument of the other side via social media (FB, Twitter, Youtube, etc) and the mainstream news. What is to be gained by censoring the truth?

That’s a real impressive set of mental gymnastics without a shred of evidence. I salute you.

You just said vaccines, so I was speaking to the concept in general. Also Tedros has gone on record saying that the virus has I think a 3.something% mortality rate? I’d love to hear where these doctors are pulling their numbers from.
My point still stands. I’m not letting you give an immuno-compromised kid Covid-19.

Which doesn’t disqualify Fauci as an expert at all…

Good thing the pandemic doesn’t care about America at all, and is in fact a worldwide phenomenon.
No but seriously, what factors? You can’t say something like that and then make vague statements about what you think is a benefit to the American people.

The mainstream news is doing a pretty good job reporting I’d say. I’ve find Reuters and NPR to be very accurate in their Coronavirus news, for example.
As much as you want Twitter etc. to be some kind of news source, it’s not. It’s a site and a social media company with no obligation to support journalism at all.

(cont from above)
What truth is being censored? That the virus is lab grown? I’ve linked an article explaining why that’s not the case, and you’ve helpfully provided a Snopes article that also details why that is not the case.
Or that China is moving against the U.S.? They’ve been taking potshots at each other forever. This virus isn’t some malicious action by a Chinese mad scientist cackling gleefully in his laboratory, it’s an unfortunate event that is going to probably shake up the status quo a bit, although I can’t speak to my ability to make accurate economic predictions.

Final Point, I know that we are both strongly opinionated on this but the whole reason this concerns me is this:

If we make a vaccine mandatory there are inevitably people who will not comply. Whether you can see their viewpoint or not. The reasoning may be religious, political, medical, social, you get the point…what happens to them? Do they self quarantine for the rest of their lives? Do they leave the country? Do they go to jail? Will they be able to buy food? or have a job?

Do they have the right to choose what they do with their own bodies? where do we draw the line? I fear, and would suggest, that the path we are currently going down could very possibly result in something like this:

https://collections.ushmm.org/search/catalog/pa1160210

and that is why I am so opposed to this idea of self quarantine and mandatory vaccination. I could care less about whether the vaccine was man made or not, or even how deadly it is. But America has survived so long and been such a blessing because we have basic human rights and liberties. Mandatory Medical practice was never part of the equation.

Only relevant reason you should be able to refuse a vaccine.
what happens to them?
I’d imagine it’s similar to what’s happening to some unvaccinated children; they won’t be allowed to participate in school etc.
Do they have the right to choose what they do with their own bodies?
Sure. They don’t have the right to infect others with a lethal and unpleasant disease though. That’s why we’re in this lockdown right now.

America is 243 years old. We haven’t survived for a long time at all. But I’m just being nitpicky here. Ignore me.

Hey, Godwin’s Law strikes! (kind of)

What ethnic groups do you imagine will be targeted?

I’m very unsure how this is anymore an infringement on liberty than conscription or other rules put in place during World War Two might have been.

It’s possible because when he said that he would be so presidential he’d be boring, he might not have meant it.

I think if the cupboards are bare and you’ve got three years to go shopping, maybe you should go shopping.

Apparently, some are saying that this does happen all the time. The deaths to covid are similar to deaths from the flu, so the shutdowns are not necessary.

The point is that whoever decides to enforce a mandatory vaccine doesn’t need an ethnic group, the group is whoever refuses it.

As for the deaths, the numbers are so messed up now we’ll never know who was Covid and who just had the flu, they put Covid as the cause of death if the doctor has any “feeling” that it could’ve been associated with Covid (even if you died of cancer/or a heart attack/or flu like symptoms). We have statements from doctors that have come out recently saying that this is what they are being advised to do. Its also no surprise, given this detail, that the Hospitals receive more money to deal with a Covid-19 (~$13,000) death than a normal influenza death (~$5000). To me it seems like this was pushed out of proportion and propagated by the flow money.

How do you know that? Insurance payments for hospitalizations vary by policy. They vary on how long the person is in the hospital. and what type of care they get.

There are influenza tests to determine if that’s what the patient has. And antivirals.

He says crazy and he expect people to believe it because ," the president says it."

It just seems to me that the Trump apologists have gome overboard in trying to spin his missteps. Wrong remains wrong.

Strained explanations of presidential mistakes lower a commentators credibility.

You would think his appologists might snap out of it when lives and safety are at stake
