Today I went to Ash Wednesday mass and there were probably 5 women (in my eye range) that were wearing some type of head covering. This was including myself I wore a hat the women in front of me wore a scarf.
When I first started wearing a hat I had a hard time wondering what people were thinking about me. I have come to terms that it is none of my business what people think, and I am here to show my love, devotion, and respect to the Lord. It does not matter what people think.
My philosophy is if you believe that it is respectful to cover your head, than cover your head. If anywhere it is certainly appropriate in church to say “live and let live”.
