This all began with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created them perfect, there was no death or sorrow. God told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered into the world. The pain which this world sees is the result of sin.

1. BECAUSE OF OUR SINS, WE DIE BOTH SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY, BUT GOD SENT HIS SON TO TAKE OUR PUNISHMENT AND GIVE US A CHANCE NOT TO HAVE TO GO TO HELL.

Ro 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Ro 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Every person who has ever lived is a sinner and is not righteous because we do bad things. A sin is a crime against God, just as if you steal something at the store, it is punishable by going to jail. It’s the same thing with sin. Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won’t go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die.

1. IF WE WILL ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS OUR LORD WITH OUR MOUTHS AND BELIEVE IN OUR HEARTS THAT HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD, BY DOING THIS WE ARE RECEIVING HIM:

Ro 10:9,10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {power: or, the right, or, privilege}

You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus and asking Him to forgive you for your sins and save you. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you.

Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

   This is very imprortant but I believe that those who reject the Church may fall into this cathegory as well. Rejecting the Church will certainly make the path to heaven narrower.
2. BY TRUSTING IN “THE CHURCH”
   This is very important. If you trust the Chuch you must automatically trust in Jesus. I say this actually desribes the one possible correct answer however because of the ambiguity of this option I will not select it.
3. BY PRAYING TO MARY
   No, absolutelly not. You might however be granted many graces that will aid you in your journey.
4. BY BEING GOOD
   No way! Being good is important but alone it’s like jumping on a train without a ticket.

Well, this is preciselly the reason why I didn’t choose option 2. It was obvious why it’s there and how you interpret it. However that is not how we see it nor how it is. We are very real because we don’t believe that trust in Jesus and trust in the Church is matually exlusive. They are not. One of the purposes of the Church is to spread to Gospel and to teach us to trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savour and follow his all commandments. The Holy Mother Church holds the fullness of truth and if I trust in Her all the other things must follow. In fact, the very fact that you follow the Bible you place your trust in Her (even thought you might not even be aware of it).

If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

**No amount of “being good” can get us into Heaven. Salvation is the free gift of grace from God, that we accept through our faith in Christ Jesus.
But – if we have faith in Him, won’t we want to obey Him? Hence, won’t we want to do whatever good we can?

About “attending a bible believing church”…Well, I do that. I attend the Holy Roman Catholic Church, which believes and teaches the Holy Scriptures.
Have you ever attended a Catholic Mass? There is a reading from the Gospels, a reading from the Epistles, a reading from the Old Testament, and a reading from the Psalms.
Furthermore the readings follow a schedule such that each day there is a new set of readings, Rather than concentrate on a few parts of the Scripture we hear all of it through the Mass.

• I am 100% sure that Jesus sent His Church out to teach all the nations (myself included)
• I am 100% sure that His mercy and justice is perfect
• I am 100% sure that He died for my sins
  Am I going to heaven? Well… I hope so. But more importantly, I hope His will will be done in my life, this world, and all of eternity, and to that end I am trying my best to be obedient to Him, and trust in His perfect mercy and justice.

i can tell you this, the outcome of who goes to heaven or not is up to God and not man. you do your best to live the way Christ wants you to live, you believe in Him, and as well as His One True Holy and Apostolic Church, the Catholic Church. others who through no fault of their own, who have led a good upstanding moral life who die are in the hands of God. it is not just by scripture alone that you must live. Christ gave us the Church, and it is His true church.
therefore, we are to follow what the church says because it is the truth. this truth was given to us by Christ Himself. everyone in their life on earth has a chance to come to know this truth. everyone.

as for who gets to heaven, that is up to God to decide and not man. we can have the hope yes, and we can live our lives pleasing to God, and walk in His ways, and follow Christ. But the decision of who goes to heaven or not is up to God Himself. it would be presumptuos on our part to definitively state that we are indeed going to heaven, we do not know this.

Its a combination…

1. You have to trust Christ, and believe in his words Completely
2. You have to be obedient to the Church HE founded. Believing in His Church means you Believe in him. The two aren’t separable. Following His church means you are following Him. It is not a follow him OR the church, because the two are inseparable.
3. Well, extrapolating, we are commanded to pray for one another. It shows our love. If I have faith enough to move mountains, but not love, my faith is useless. So, I don’t limit asking for and and praying for to Just Mary. Thats Like saying am I not allowed to pray for you? Are you not allowed to pray for me?
4. Being Good - This alone is impossible, but you have to be obedient in combination with your belief. “Why do you call me Lord Lord and Not do as I say?!”

Its not an exclusionary deal…
All of it is needed.

I do and I have. I am a faithful believer in the Catholic Church. The pillar and ground of the truth. (1st Timothy 3:15 “the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”)
