I advocate defending the United States of America from invaders and you make it sound monsterous! Are you for real? Did you ever read a history book?
To dump children inside our borders is THEIR GRAND STRATEGY. It’s nothing that hasn’t been tried before in other parts of the world at other times in history.
I am not a politician so I will not disguise my words with clever prose. These people are invading the US. They are soldiers without uniforms. They will never become Americans but will force Americans to their culture.

America also didn’t enter the war until Pearl Harbour in 1941.Oh, your one of those I’m CATHOLIC except when no one is looking.
Isn’t it nice that all those white people fought all those wars so LA RAZA (maybe we shouldn’t use the Mexican master race wording) can just walk across the border and take what Americans won the hard way.
I think Mexico lost around 100 people in World War 2 and all on freighters, none in battle. What a victory for Mexico!
But Brazil sent 25,000 troops to the Italian campaign. Yes! A country as poor as Brazil still sent troops.
America does not forget its allies! or its enemies!
I always get annoyed when I hear Americans talk about how America is a world hero which saved us all in every war…

I have my information from the Illinois Department of Education’s website and from other state run facilities that show the expenses for each student in each district. It is separated into an elementary district and a high school district. It doesn’t take into account any private or religious run school.
I have lived in this town all of my life, and I know various teachers from this and other areas. I have heard how they practically hand the answers to the students before tests are taken just to increase the scores because they know most of these children could care less about an education and their books never open except to draw pictures in them.
Because this is just another entitlement, an education is not really prized by anyone including the parents. The first few grades in school are pretty much an expensive baby sitter so the parents can go home and do “God knows what”! Virtually every student has taxpayer paid school bus service too.
There are no built in excuses for why these students are doing miserably. The majority of the 17 elementary schools are less than 10 years old and all equipment is state of the art. I believe every school is air conditioned also. The high school is the only older building as I attended the same one in the 70s. They built a huge facility just for freshmen. It opened last year.
Again, not one excuse can be found for these students failing except they just don’t give a damn. America has handed them the education on silver platter so they don’t have to work for anything! If they’ve been taught anything, it is that.
Back to statistics. I went through this on another post but I’ll do it again as I still can’t believe what America spends on these ingrates while poor Americans freeze on the streets of Chicago because they can’t get the funds that these people take for granted.
Each elementary grade 1-8 costs $12,580.00/ student for a total of $100,640.00.
Each secondary grade 9-12 costs $16,716.00/ student for a total of $66,864.00.
$100,640.00 + $66,864.00 = $167,504.00 for grades 1-12.
Pre-K and Kindergarten I ball parked at $12,496 for both and I think that’s fairly accurate.
So each student receives an education that cost $180,000.00 at current prices. Only 70% graduate high school.
It is interesting to note that during this summer, a Reverend Meeks complained that the students in predominately African American neighborhoods in Chicago are receiving only $10,000.00/ student, are being educated in buildings that are poorly maintained, falling apart, with old textbooks and equipment. The graduation rate is an appalling 50% for those areas.
I can compare the situation in this country and the inequity in the distribution of funds away from the American poor and the lack of consideration by our American leaders with the lack of foresight that the Captain and the crew of the Titanic had in April of 1912. No one cared that the ship had a shortage of lifeboats until they struck the iceberg.
But by then, of course, it was too late.

And you can thank missionaries along with soldiers who enslaved the inhabitants and forced christianity on them. Not exactly “Christ-like”!
I won’t excuse what Europeans did, but are you lucky that they did what they did.
Whenever there is a Columbus Day, there is always a group of American Indians who complain about us celibrating this “monster” who enslaved them.
Then someone will bring up all the attrocities committed by Indians and they will respond,“Don’t change the subject. We’re talking about Columbus!”

Thank you for stepping in. I guess attacking me personally wasn’t getting enough of a rise from me so this Bullfighter had to bring my son into it. Rather than respond in kind I will only add to your comment that Bullfighters remarks, as well as his whole arguement presents a false dichotomy; a choice that doesn’t exist. No one is being asked to starve themselves or their families to help others. What we do for charity in this country as Catholics is done through our excess. Most of us can skip eating out some, drive a used car longer, or some other sacrifice when we donate to Catholic Charity. That money is not an entitlement to the American citizens, as Bullfighter suggested earlier, but is target to the most needed, often immigrants. No one starves to help them.I will make it simple. That picture of the child. I imagine it is yours. Are you going to tell me that you would rather feed “immigants” than your own child

Christian charity is when the christian takes the money from his own pocket and donates to whatever charity he wishes. A christian is NOT supposed to reach into another person’s pocket to feed that charity. That is called theft.
Since I and my family have given hundreds of dollars to the Catholic Church over the years, I find it ironic when the groups that the Catholic Church are supporting will only feed others identified as Latino, Hispanic, etc. All basically that one race. Of course, a few dollars spill into the hands of the other races but the primary receipient is the one holding the foreign flag.
Where do Americans go for help when their own Church supports the people taking food out of the mouths of the American poor.

I disagree that the Lord placed them here. They placed themselves on this side of the border and refuse to obey our laws. They think if they hold out long enough, if the create enough children to effect our population, and if they get enough support from people who are willing to sell out their own country, they will soon become the dominant race and control the US.
And when that happens, they will have control over all our nuclear weaponry. This is not about immigration. This is about the safety of the World.
And before you say, I’m racist or I’m crazy ask yourself this: Did you ever think you would see the day that the United States of America would allow a foreign army to march on the streets of the US without so much as an objection from our government. Remember what flag of which country those people were waving. And you say that they are just immigrants.

its the invasion of america by illegals that has caused this depression…that and NAFTA…the importation of slave labor products from china etc…I hate to even suggest the ten commandments on this site but I seem to recall a mention about stealing in there…all of the landscaping jobs here where I live on the gold coast of Long Island have been taken over by illegals…they work off the books,pay no taxes,have their children go to school for free and they get free medical attention…all of the above I cant get.so this is stealing…that coupled with slave labor products on the same shelves with made in america products low balling our stuff has produced this horrendus unemployment and fulled soup kitchens…the latest Kennedy says in a brilliant fashion that NAFTA has resulted in 'unforseen ’ problems in our economy…wow how brilliant…here I forsaw that years ago and back in 1828 Danial Webster saw that also when he called for a high tariff to protect american products and workers…sigh…so blind or so evil…either way to 1984 we go…

Mexicans are creating other Mexicans in record numbers. What will they say when God asks:
"Why did you create life when you knew you couldn’t afford to?
Why did you place your responsibilities on others?"

How will they answer? In a world that is already overpopulated, what excuse is there to create more life?
