How we can find peace without any meaning?

No, but that is a different problem. We are cognitively open to understand things. We use verbal communication to exchange ideas. We can have the same understanding of Meaning if you really know it.
Not when you chose not to Bahman 😦
That is only a claim. You cannot prove it.
If you live before the internet and cameras, and a man from China tells you what China is like, why debate him?

So we were told of this and I have literally NO opposing stories to consider from any sources that suggest otherwise 😛
I don’t think that this analogy works because God created us as intellectual beings. So I think that we are able to understand all mysteries including Meaning knowing the fact that God love us otherwise we fall in state of despair.
That is why next to Cat I put: (by choice)

Meaning that you do have the capabilities possibly to not be the cat…

But when explaining anything to Bahman it feels very much like trying to explain the stock market to a cat.
That is not correct. I think that is your failure to understand Evil well. I have already explain that to you.
Yet here you are with ideas and definitions standing alone, and without any sense of peace.

Here you are asking others who all disagree with you how they have what you want.

Here you are telling them that they are wrong while still asking them how they have what you want.
I don’t think so.
The cat does not think about the stock market… but the stock market is still true 😛

Once he accepts this as the meaning, it won’t make sense until he understands how it affects his life in a particular way… And I think that could be part of the hangup. 🤷
I think you hit the nail on the head Shadow. :yup:

Because until that point, the MEANING won’t have ‘meaning’…

I think this is exactly what he keeps saying.

I’ve done the same on occasion… I’ll say, ‘I know what that means, but I don’t know what that MEANS’…

That is, I may rationally understand the words, but I don’t understand how they apply to a particular situation or even life itself. 🤷

I see where you are coming from. It is kind of what I was trying to say 7 pages ago about purpose, it was easy for me to state what my purpose in life was, but this might not mean anything to someone else. Basically it is easy to say the rational understanding behind the source of all meaning is GOD. However, how this applies to your life is very difficult to understand because this understanding can only come from within, since each one of us could have a different understanding of the application of this meaning.

That’s exactly it. I myself struggled with the application of this concept until very recently.

It’s the dilemma of those who don’t realize or don’t want to realize that God is he source of any ultimately meaningful moral system. Of course, because the system is from God, it is not understood by man, a finite creature.

It is a moral system that gives meaning to life. But Bahman is looking for the underpinning to undestand the ultimate true moral system. He wants to know what God knows, instead of resting in the fact that God does indeed know.

Rest and peace come from the understanding that the one who truly understands the MEANING of life is the one who loves us.

peace
