40 cups of coffee a day? That must have wrecked his stomach. Well, I’m sorry to hear it, anyway.Chavez acknowledged after he was diagnosed with cancer that he had been recklessly neglecting his health. He had taken to staying up late and drinking as many as 40 cups of coffee a day. He regularly summoned his Cabinet ministers to the presidential palace late at night.
Amen. I was no fan, but I pray for him and his family. He was very young.I am watching this on CNN. I am not surprised, since he was so ill. Praying for his soul and his family. I hope there is a smooth transition of power.
I was unaware that Chavez stood tall against our imperial president, Obama. This is news to me. Anyway, Chavez was a murderous thug who will not be missed. RobI had ambivalent feelings towards Chavez. On one hand he was a Marxist, who could be rather negative towards the Church at times. On the other he took a firm stand against US imperialism.
I know I shouldn’t have laughed, but you surprised me. :tsktsk: Shame on at least one of us. :blushing:
