Yep. I’m rather suspicious of this type of thing. Is this a real apparition? It is possible. However, for myself, I suspend judgement until the local bishop has investigated and decided whether something supernatural has occurred or not. I wouldn’t like to chase after something that hadn’t occurred. My wife and myself are going to Guadalupe next month, which seems a preferable trip.
Good point.„Inside the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament where the Holy Eucharist is exposed, church officials said shadows appeared along the bottom of the altar cloth.“
This is so sad, it makes me cry. All these people right there in front of the Lord Himself and the Miracle of miracles, ignoring Him and trying to make out shapes in the folds of the altar cloth.
Lord, what can I do to make it up to You?
Excellent point - another poster made a similar point earlier. What amazes me is that people will come to see apparitions by flocks, but they don’t flock to see the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Makes me very skeptical of their true nature of faith.
More reasons to pray.
According to Spirit Daily, this alleged apparition is not Catholic, and is currently being investigated by the Bishop of Cleveland. If you have the opportunity, visit Maranatha Holy Love Shrine outside of Elyria, Ohio. Apparitions, miracles, and messages from heaven have been occurring there over the last 20 years. My family and I have been there 4 times over the last 2 years

This website has more pictures of the “images”.I hate to be the skeptic here, but this is a result of nothing supernatural, it’s due to the way the light is being refracted by the glass holding the candle. I’ll bet if you blew out the candle, “Mary” would go away.
Not miraculous.
