Well with fiction I read it and I enjoy it, unless you enjoy coming to religious threads and get a kick out of arguing and telling people they are wrong and telling them to prove to you what you know is faith, you are wasting your time.

I quite agree. Atheists that do that (or in fact, anyone that does that) is generally obnoxious and arrogant. However, if there was an appropriate place to discuss one’s problems with Catholicism on this website, this sub forum of Non Catholic Religions would be applicable.

A, why would this man, an avowed atheist even write a book about his experience if it were not true? Why would he all of a sudden become a minister from being an atheist if he were not 100% sure that God existed? Don’t you have an open mind?
If God did not exist, I wouldn’t feel this way in my heart. You can feel the same way if you just one time said you believe in God. Just say it one time, out loud, by yourself and see what happens. Just try it.

You know A, most if not all here on this forum truely feel Christ in their hearts. Some hearts yearn and burn for Christ. If God did not exist, then none would really feel this way. Honestly, and I’m no holy roller. I love God and I know He exists. I am the last person you may see to feel this way. I had an awakening in 2005, and I am so thankful to God for it. I pray you have this same awakening. I am not a born again Christian, as some like to call it, I prefer ‘awakening’ in my Catholic faith, for to be born again was when I did it right the first time in baptism as an infant.

Your argument makes no sense. No-one is doubting this man’s sincerity here. We are doubting the actual reality of the event he claims to have experienced.

Taking your argument literally, however - I will ask this:

Why would a man, an avowed Christian even write a book about hisexperiences if they are not true?

Lots of people convert to other religions and write books and do things synonymous with their new beliefs. It does not make the beliefs they hold any more realistic.

Why would he become a minister? Well he converted to Christianity. That could be why.

This is suitable evidence. This is your opinion.

If Howard Storm’s personal experiences are suitable evidence for the truth of Christianity then Timothy Winter’s and Omar Sharif’s are also suitable evidence for the truth of Islam.

But they can’t both be true. Therefore your logic does not add up.
