Was that a contradiction??That is unrelated and completely beside the point regarding the origin of suffering in the world.

I’m going to Mass soon, too. Don’t forget to wear splash of red today, it’s Pentecost Sunday.I am going to Mass now and I will go into detail later. However, Christ said that He would put his spirit into the hearts of everyone and those who do not know Him make choices about how they live out their lives based on how open they are in to their hearts. To those who do believe in Jesus we are expected to live our lives as an example of Christ’s love and consequently, much is expected of us. If we do not live our as sacrificial love then we give evidence that our God is not a God of Love.
I know there are many holes in this, but I am leaving now.
Define worship please.Every Ahteist and every Agnostic worships a god.
I thought all things were created by God. For suffering to exist it had to be created. Are you saying that man created sin? That man has the power to create separately from God?That is unrelated and completely beside the point regarding the origin of suffering in the world. It does not matter WHAT the first sin was…it stands that before the first sin, suffering did not exist, and after it, it did. God did not create suffering…but, in His Mercy, has given us a way to bring good out of the bad; hence, suffering for its own sake, is in vain…but suffering offered as a prayer and united to the suffering of Christ on the Cross brings the grace of Christ’s merit; and therefore, becomes a vehicle for GOOD.
Using the Bible, which you do not believe in by your own admission, to prove your points is severely lacking in credibility.Your obviosly clutching at straws hiting my Bible quotes…
Thats my choice to do so, You see i have read the Bible, It was rammed down my throat as i grew up…
If i can use YOUR Bible to QUOTE my opinion, Then thats upto me to do for my reasons alone… All i ever see on here is people quoting the Bible to AIR there opinions SO SHALL I without being questioned…
Look at my other responses and reply’s before you mention Grammer…
Dont just read 1 of my responses then hitout…
READ THEM ALL, My grammer isnt the best but i do TRY…
I never ONCE said i believed in anything of the bible i quote, so you presume that from reading 1 sentance???
I can see why your religous…![]()
People that are non faith based are basically amoral people who want to indulge in sinful ways and have a clear conscience about it. Basically are very selfish and self centred from what I can see anyhow.Define worship please.
Death entered the world through man’s disobedience.I thought all things were created by God. For suffering to exist it had to be created. Are you saying that man created sin? That man has the power to create separately from God?
Are you saying that man created suffering and death? This is the teaching of the RCC?Death entered the world through man’s disobedience.
Yes, man can create many things - hopefully things of beauty that give glory to God, with help of the gift of grace obtained through the sacraments.
Imperfection entered this world due to disobedience. That includes, unfortunately, suffering and death to the body (and sometimes the soul), in one form or another. Are you saying that man created suffering and death? This is the teaching of the RCC?
It doesn’t matter what I think, I am asking what the RCC teaches. According to your statement suffering and death did not exist prior to the apple. If it did not exist then it had to be created. Who created suffering and death?Imperfection entered this world due to disobedience. That includes, unfortunately, suffering and death to the body (and sometimes the soul), in one form or another.
Some people do seem to enjoy making other people miserable on purpose, so you tell me. Who exactly could be credited with deliberately “creating” misery? History is full of examples, as is of course, our present time.
God is the creator of everything, yet He made us **free to choose **whether to obey Him or not. You can ask an apologist, which I am not, specifically what the catechism of the Catholic Church teaches about the origins of evil, which began with the sin of pride among the angels (Lucifer and his followers) thinking themselves better than God. This was the introduction of evil into existence, from what I understand - thinking oneself better than God.It doesn’t matter what I think, I am asking what the RCC teaches. According to your statement suffering and death did not exist prior to the apple. If it did not exist then it had to be created. Who created suffering and death?
Either God is the source of all creation or God is not. If God is not the source of all created things then God is not all powerful. If God is the source of all created things then God created suffering and death.
To worship as in to treasure above all else.Define worship please.

Nasty personal comments aren’t allowed. You can only refute ideas of those posting on this forum, not the posters themselves.Hi Pier.
I’m sorry, but they are overlooking your simple mind.

God’s soverignty isn’t dependant our intellectual understanding of Him.This is nothing but rationalizing an incompetent god.
So how was Mass, Ron? Did you say a prayer for these good people here? I did.I disagree about death entering the world because of disobedience. I do not believe that sin was committed in the beginning. The beginning of the story must be understood in terms of two pure innocent creations becoming self-aware throught the consequences of choices made in an unknown world with an unknown Creator. The tree of knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life are two trees that the man is told not to eat the fruit of.
What does that tell us. It tells me that he has no knowledge of good and evil. Consequently, he has no idea of the concept of obedience nor disobedience.
The tree of life is the symbol of eternal life. The man has no idea of death as yet so he cannot have any idea of what it would mean to lose a life.
For every woman out there today, Happy Mothers’ Day which is the day for all women to be honored.
I’m A POOR FELLOW!!Using the Bible, which you do not believe in by your own admission, to prove your points is severely lacking in credibility.
By using the Bible you are stating that in fact the Bible is factual and that the scriptures quoted as truths. You are giving the Bible credibility by using it in your quotes.
Can you not see the hypocritical ways of your actions?
I’ll dumb it down for you, that is to say, make is easier to understand.
On one hand you are saying that in no way shape or form do you believe in the Bible and that it is false.
Then in the same breath you are using scripture quotes from the same Bible to disprove accusations.
You cannot have it both ways poor fellow.
Actually Jacafamala, I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughts that came to me during Mass.So how was Mass, Ron? Did you say a prayer for these good people here? I did.Did you remember to wear a splash of red for Pentecost?
Thanks for the Mothers’ Day good wishes.
