I am going to Mass now and I will go into detail later. However, Christ said that He would put his spirit into the hearts of everyone and those who do not know Him make choices about how they live out their lives based on how open they are in to their hearts. To those who do believe in Jesus we are expected to live our lives as an example of Christ’s love and consequently, much is expected of us. If we do not live our as sacrificial love then we give evidence that our God is not a God of Love.
I know there are many holes in this, but I am leaving now.
I’m going to Mass soon, too. Don’t forget to wear splash of red today, it’s Pentecost Sunday.🙂

God alone suffices. Come Holy Spirit.

That is unrelated and completely beside the point regarding the origin of suffering in the world. It does not matter WHAT the first sin was…it stands that before the first sin, suffering did not exist, and after it, it did. God did not create suffering…but, in His Mercy, has given us a way to bring good out of the bad; hence, suffering for its own sake, is in vain…but suffering offered as a prayer and united to the suffering of Christ on the Cross brings the grace of Christ’s merit; and therefore, becomes a vehicle for GOOD.
I thought all things were created by God. For suffering to exist it had to be created. Are you saying that man created sin? That man has the power to create separately from God?

Your obviosly clutching at straws hiting my Bible quotes…
Thats my choice to do so, You see i have read the Bible, It was rammed down my throat as i grew up…
If i can use YOUR Bible to QUOTE my opinion, Then thats upto me to do for my reasons alone… All i ever see on here is people quoting the Bible to AIR there opinions SO SHALL I without being questioned…

Look at my other responses and reply’s before you mention Grammer…
👍 Dont just read 1 of my responses then hitout…
READ THEM ALL, My grammer isnt the best but i do TRY…

I never ONCE said i believed in anything of the bible i quote, so you presume that from reading 1 sentance???

I can see why your religous…👍
Using the Bible, which you do not believe in by your own admission, to prove your points is severely lacking in credibility.

By using the Bible you are stating that in fact the Bible is factual and that the scriptures quoted as truths. You are giving the Bible credibility by using it in your quotes.

Can you not see the hypocritical ways of your actions?

I’ll dumb it down for you, that is to say, make is easier to understand.

On one hand you are saying that in no way shape or form do you believe in the Bible and that it is false.

Then in the same breath you are using scripture quotes from the same Bible to disprove accusations.

You cannot have it both ways poor fellow.

Define worship please.
People that are non faith based are basically amoral people who want to indulge in sinful ways and have a clear conscience about it. Basically are very selfish and self centred from what I can see anyhow.

You worship your ipods, laptops, televisions and their program stars, hollywood, drugs, immoral sex, immoral lifestyle, gay culture and any other variety of. These are your Gods.

From my observations about such people who are usually urban in nature. No wonder our cities are under siege by filth with these types running the show.

I hope they provide you with salvation and love.

See you on Judgment Day.

Death entered the world through man’s disobedience.

Yes, man can create many things - hopefully things of beauty that give glory to God, with help of the invisible gift of grace obtained through the sacraments.

Are you saying that man created suffering and death? This is the teaching of the RCC?

Imperfection entered this world due to disobedience. That includes, unfortunately, suffering and death to the body (and sometimes the soul), in one form or another.

Some people do seem to enjoy making other people miserable on purpose, so you tell me. Who exactly could be credited with deliberately “creating” misery? History is full of examples, as is of course, our present time.

It doesn’t matter what I think, I am asking what the RCC teaches. According to your statement suffering and death did not exist prior to the apple. If it did not exist then it had to be created. Who created suffering and death?

Either God is the source of all creation or God is not. If God is not the source of all created things then God is not all powerful. If God is the source of all created things then God created suffering and death.

God is the creator of everything, yet He made us **free to choose **whether to obey Him or not. You can ask an apologist, which I am not, specifically what the catechism of the Catholic Church teaches about the origins of evil, which began with the sin of pride among the angels (Lucifer and his followers) thinking themselves better than God. This was the introduction of evil into existence, from what I understand - thinking oneself better than God.

Not a wise position to take, by any means.

I disagree about death entering the world because of disobedience. I do not believe that sin was committed in the beginning. The beginning of the story must be understood in terms of two pure innocent creations becoming self-aware throught the consequences of choices made in an unknown world with an unknown Creator. The tree of knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life are two trees that the man is told not to eat the fruit of.
What does that tell us. It tells me that he has no knowledge of good and evil. Consequently, he has no idea of the concept of obedience nor disobedience.
The tree of life is the symbol of eternal life. The man has no idea of death as yet so he cannot have any idea of what it would mean to lose a life.
For every woman out there today, Happy Mothers’ Day which is the day for all women to be honored.

No. Suffering and death are the natural result of sin. Man didn’t create sin and death, although he chose to enter into sin and death… Satan is the father of all lies, and he is responsible for bringing sin and death into existence.

Hi Pier.

I’m sorry, but they are overlooking your simple mind.

I’m A POOR FELLOW!!
LOL So your saying there is rules now???
Does it annoy you that i have read the Bible and can quote like i do and not believe like you do??
I have read 2 versions front to back, And have a reason not to believe in it… First thing before you knock something is to try understand whats in it. *
I believe that a man with a very good mind wrote stuff as a thought to what may have been the start of man…
Others have liked the stories and carried them on and they got out of hand because dont forget that the amount of money generated of these stories are Billions and Billions…
The bible often speaks of Gold WHY???
Adam and Eve had no need for it… So why is it mentioned??
Your telling me you never thought about this??
.Or are thses against your rules to ask questions??*

Actually Jacafamala, I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughts that came to me during Mass.
I thanked God for their presence and it also occurred to me that they are a reminder to me that our faith is to be lived as an act of love.
It occurred to me that what they identify is the sin that is within our faith that will distort how our faith is to be lived by us and perceived by others.
I forgot to wear red but my passion for Truth is an unseen red.
I have much more to add but I must go now.
I believe that the men and women who are Atheists hold us to a higher standard to prove that we do have a living faith rather than a dead faith.
