It is almost beyond belief that anyone could make such an outrageous statement in a public setting - let alone a priest in a homily. Hopefully someone (perhaps someone in a mixed marriage) provided some “constructive feedback”.

We said something in the form of an anonymous survey.

I know some are “in one ear and out the other” with some of it. They’ve heard it there before and it isn’t changing.
