i am here looking for a good catholic husband

Haha, yea I agree. I suggested to her earlier that she look for somebody in real life. Now don’t get me wrong, there are people who have married others they met online, but I think if she is going to be looking for those specific traits in that age of men, especially online, I don’t really think the chances of it working out are high. But thats just what I think. I could be totally wrong.

I’m with you dog, with rare exceptions. Talk for a long time online, then meet in a very public place. Have a wingman, in case things don’t go well.

I’m sure she’s already met a half dozen devoutly Catholic Navy SEALS, fighter pilots, fire captains and major league infielders.
 
I just couldn’t ever be with somebody online like that. I know it works out for some people, but I think reality is the way to go. Actually, I don’t really think one would need to ‘look’ for another. I think that if you just live your life, a love will show up eventually, especially when you least expect it. Thats why I say live your life and be open to new people. 👍

But whats a little sad is she just came on here saying she wanted a husband with those traits, but explained nothing about herself, or her life or anything. Do I hear somebody screaming desperate?

Not trying to assume anything as I don’t know you, but a lot of women also want a guy with nice looks. That might have something to do with it, I don’t know.

Many of the guys at age 18 that I know are definitely not ready to commit and are very immature. That is why I suggested she wait a bit. Also too, I think dating in real life will give you better results than online.

Actually, there are some great Catholic dating sites. The OP should check them out. The only road block in my experience has been distance.

If thats what she chooses to do, I hope the best for her. I just wouldn’t choose that route personally, but thats just me.
 
Given the OP’s posting history, and the posting history of the OP’s alternate account (morgan1992), I don’t think it’s out of the question to be not sure if srs. 🤷

I never said you were ugly. You said that you cant get a girlfriend, and I said that it could be looks.

I have no idea what you look like, and I really don’t care what you look like. I was just pointing it out. Because people these days are pretty shallow. and you said you couldn’t figure out why they didn’t like you, so I gave that as a possibility. Never called you ugly though. I have no clue what you look like and don’t really care.
