Hi Nicole,
God has promised us in His word, the Bible, that “seek and we shall find”. it’s such a good thing to search for God. there are so many churches and denominations out there- and not one of them is perfect. if the church was perfect, we couldn’t belong, as we are not perfect.
so many people have commented here on what you should do…but again…why listen to us? we are all telling you something different, we are not perfect…we could change our opinion tomorrow. but do u know what? “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever”. ask God to guide you to the church which he wants you at. speak to the baptist minister, find out what they believe, and if the Bible supports their views. do the same with your priest. a good book i’ve found is “nothing in my hand i bring” by Ray Galea. it highlights the differences between catholic and protestant beliefs, and it is written by a catholic who was searching like you. don’t stop searching Nicole until you are sure you are in the place God wants you to be. He won’t let you down
God Bless you.
