While I understand where you’re coming from, Novus Ordo literally means “New Order”. The Mass of Paul VI is 40 years old, while the Mass of Pius V is 500. I do not see how calling the Pauline Mass “Novus Ordo” can be offensive. It in no way means to be offensive. In fact, my diocesan bishop wrote a letter back to me recently and he referred to the Ordinary Form as the Novus Ordo.Your post illustrates why we should not use the language of “NO” Mass. It is properly either the mass of Paul VI or the OF. Please lets get past this ideologized language.
