Holly,
I guess they told you to drink plenty of fluids.
Dear Jesus,
Help Holly deal with her issues and follow the doctor’s orders. It’s important when taking medicine to follow directions, so help her with this. And grant her peace and consolation in knowing that people care about her. Amen

Thanks to all of you so much for your prayers. Petra, thank you for reminding me about drinking plenty of fluids. As far as I am aware, that is an important part of treating a Urinary Tract Infection.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that I also have an ingrown fingernail which is really painful at times. I am not sure if it is infected or not. I am thinking about going back to the Quick Care Clinic today to get it looked at as I really don’t know how to treat an ingrown fingernail. I am guessing that when I clipped my fingernails a week ago that I clipped them wrong and so that is why I have an ingrown one. Also, if I don’t post much on this thread or anywhere else then don’t be surprised because the ingrown nail is beginning to affect my typing.

Hi everyone. I need prayers. I am incredibly depressed. I am crying and the issue just keeps getting worse. I would really appreciate your prayers. :crying:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my words, O Mother of the Word, but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen

O Christ Jesus, when all is darkness and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence, Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust in Your protecting love and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us, for, living close to You, we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things. Amen!

Lord, look upon Holly with the eyes of Your
mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon
her, may Your life-giving powers flow
into every cell of her body and into the
depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying,
restoring her to wholeness and strength
for service in Your Kingdom. Amen. ❤️

Holly, I will be keeping you in my prayers
and thoughts.

Thank you all so very much for your prayers. They are greatly appreciated. I do want you all to know that my breathing has gotten much better and I would say it is either back to normal or close to normal. I attribute this to your prayers, God’s healing grace, and to the fact that it has been 1 week and almost 2 days since I had any cigarettes and I am not going to pick up the cancer stick habit again! I do give God all of the glory for the fact that I quit smoking though because I am certain that I would not have gotten this far without His grace.

Anyway, the lesion seems to be about the same but its not draining as much as it was doing so I think that’s a good thing. I am taking my oral antibiotics and I am also using my topical antibiotics as well. Hopefully I’ll see more improvement tomorrow.

I am still rather depressed but I am feeling much less depressed than what I was feeling earlier. My brain doesn’t seem to know whether it wants to be happy or sad to be honest. 😛 One bad thing though is that I’ve had a little psychosis today. I hallucinated for about 1 second earlier this evening. Basically something on my screen appeared to say something that it really did not say. This is the most common hallucination that I experience other than I will occasionally see a light flash when I’m pretty sure it didn’t really flash. So please keep my mental health in your prayers as it seems to be rather fragile today.

I am having some pain in my right shoulder but I think it is just arthritis pain. I do have Osteoarthritis in my knees although its never been confirmed for my shoulders. Still I am pretty sure that I do have it in almost all of my joints. I have also been having pain in my left ankle when I walk. I think that is due to tendinitis. I do have chronic tendinitis so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Anyway, thank you all again for your prayers. I greatly appreciate them. Also, sorry if I rambled. :o:p

Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favour to aid Holly3278 with her health and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory Be.

St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease. And guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.

:signofcross:

Holy Mother, thank you so much for your help with Holly’s smoking and breathing problems! Please continue to comfort Holly her and intercede with our Lord on her behalf for her other illnesses. She especially needs him to send away the spirit of depression and the psychosis. Amen.

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.

Thanks again to both of you for your kindness. You two are very kind and I greatly appreciate your prayers. I don’t know what I would do without the prayers of my friends here on Catholic Answers Forums. The prayers of strangers are also quite helpful and indeed I am grateful to all of you and to God for all of the prayers that are prayed for me by everyone.

Anyway, I am doing a little bit better. My mood is continuing to improve. I have been praying some and God is helping my mood to improve! Deo Gratias! (Thanks be to God!) Also, the pain in my shoulder seems to have reduced a bit. 🙂

Your prayers are helping so please do not cease to pray. I sincerely hope that everyone continues to pray until I am fully recovered. If you don’t want to then that is fine but if you do then I really do appreciate it. I hope and pray that God will abundantly bless all of you for your kindness towards me. 🙂

Hey everyone. I am not feeling well at all today. I have been tired and weak as well as depressed and in pain. I think a lot of this is because of my Fibromyalgia. My Fibromyalgia always gets worse when I am sick.

As for the lesion, I’m not sure if its getting any better or not. I can’t tell much difference in it and I just started taking the antibiotics yesterday. I’m getting ready to take my fourth dose here in a few minutes. I put the ointment on about 45 minutes ago. It has to be put on twice a day as well.

Because I didn’t feel well today I chose to sleep most of the day. I could have stayed up but I went ahead and slept anyway.

As far as quitting smoking, I am still doing well on that. Thanks be to God! It has been 10 days since I quit smoking and I haven’t slipped up any. I give God all of the praise because I wouldn’t be able to do it without His grace. I am quitting cold turkey.

So anyway, I want to thank you all again for your prayers for me and for all my prayer intentions. I really appreciate the prayers. I am sure they are helping. 🙂

Hello Holly,

My mother also suffers from asthma. She recently had a very bad bout of it and eventually went to the specialist and he prescribed Prednisone for her condition. Her asthma cleared up very quickly.

You also may want to research a new breakthrough treatment for your asthma called “bronchial thermoplasty”. It has zero side effects and it’s giving many people lasting relief from their asthma.

Here’s a video on this new treatment:

I hope this information helps and I will continue to pray for your healing. All the best and God bless you!

Hey everyone. I am having a lot of pain tonight. Its mostly in my arms and its either muscle pain or pain from my Chronic Tendinitis. I am not sure which. All I know is it hurts quite a bit.

I am also having a nasty headache which along with a runny nose. I am afraid I might be catching a Sinus Infection like my mom has. Of course it could simply be Allergies too. Nevertheless, its really bothering me. I keep having pain especially above my right eye which is quite typical for a Sinus Headache for me.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers everyone. I am rather miserable. I would pray myself but when I do it makes my headache worse. 😦

Thank you Allworth. That sounds like an amazing treatment. I am not sure if my Asthma is quite that severe or not. I need to ask my doctor if I can have a referral to a Respiratory doctor. I think a Respiratory doctor would be able to help me a lot more than my main doctor.

***Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Hey everyone. My headache is still sticking around. It does not want to leave me alone and its extremely annoying. Its not a severe headache but nothing I take is making it go away. I did just try Ibuprofen and Claritin as a last resort. Please pray and pray hard that this headache goes away. Please also pray and pray hard that I do not wake up with it 10 times worse as I think is what’s going to happen. If that happens that I am going to have extreme difficulty in going to my appointment with the mental health clinic and it is absolutely vital that I go. If I don’t then I’ll have to wait another couple of months before they can try to reopen my case again.

Also, that lesion is draining again and I’ve been hot all night. I don’t think I’m running a fever but anything is possible.

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like unto thine. To Jesus through Mary. Mary, Queen of Peace, grant peace to Holly as she undergoes these trials. Help her with the pain. Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.
