More accurately, you are presuppositionally bound by your opinion of your interpretation of Scripture…
And you by yours, which is your Church’s by proxy. :hmmm:
How very honest of you, and I let your words sit overnight. Here’s where your position leaves us at this juncture: we have opposing “opinions” of interpretation of Scripture.

Is it possible for Christians to know the Truth of Scripture, or are we meant to swim in a sea of doctrinal conjecture?

I have been silently following this thread and can say that if I ever had any predilection towards OSAS, it has been obliterated by this thread. Thanks guys & gals.
On behalf of everyone here (including Sandusky, without whose questions the answers would never have been articulated) - You’re welcome!

Mission accomplished, I think. 🙂

In no small measure thanks to your efforts. 👍

I don’t give those things much attention. The opening of Hebrews 1 makes it clear that no more revelation is forthcoming with the death of the apostles, and the close of the scripture.
The Catechism is speaking about public revelation, not private. We may agree that public revelation closed, but the Catholic Church affirms that God continues to manifest and reveal Himself to individuals.

Thanks everyone for their participation. This thread has reached 1000 posts and will be closed.

God bless-
