If anyone else would have said this, he's be labeled a "Rad'Trad"

These same people come on the TC forum and claim that Traditionalists don’t believe anyone is Catholic unless they agree with the Traditionalists.

Then they call Traditionalists Protestants because Traditionalists don’t agree with them.

I only have three words for these people: pot… kettle… black.

Does this mean Pope Benedict XVI is a schismatic and sedevacantist? 😃

I notice many people come to the TC forum and make this charge against anyone who attends the Tridentine Mass. These people need to take a hard look at what they’re doing and listen to what Pope Benedict XVI has to say about the Mass. I think these people don’t realize that Vatican II didn’t start a new church.

Man, some of those lyrics make Haugen and Haas look like St. Thomas Aquinas.

I’m familiar with some of those songs (“Hosea”, “Take and Eat”, “Here I am Lord”, and “I Have Loved You”) and I thought they were bad. The ones I never heard of are worse.

Anyways, not to get off topic, I think these hymns illustrate what Pope Benedict XVI is talking about we call ourselves into question when we want to do away with the holy and replace it with self worship.

The authority to determine who is a real trad is the Pope.

Are they in communion with the Pope? (I’m talking about the REAL Pope, Pope Benedict XVI, in Rome. I’m NOT talking about someone elected by a conclave of mirrors)

If the answer is “no” like sedevacantists, Old Catholics, conclavist groups, SSPX etc., they’re fake.

These fake trads harm the real trads, just as counterfeit currency harms the holders of real currency.
 
And there I disagree SSPX are not fake trads. Seems you paint with quite a broad brush.

They are fake since they’re still in schism (Ecclesia Dei) - they don’t want to listen to the Pope.

Real trads are not in schism.

Now, if the SSPX come back to the fold, then they’ll regain their status of real trads. I hope and pray they do come back and turn from the mirror.

Can you provide an authorative document (from Rome) that uses the terminology of “fake trads” in reference to the SSPX. Here I do not mean terms that you make up and then apply as if they come direct from the Pope’s mouth.

The priests and laity of the SSPX are not in schism. We have discussed this ad nauseum on this forum. Give it a rest, would ya?
