Are you suggesting that being gay means a person is a child molester?
 
That was the hypothesis, said the article, not a fact as you claim. And that hypothesis was also opinion, not an actual fact.
 
Until recently in society you either got married to a woman and had a family or you became a priest. So a closeted gay man would naturally gravitate to a vocation where people would stop asking him who he was dating or when grandchildren could be expected.
 
“In The Closet of The Vatican” book estimated a majority Vatican clergy are gay and is based on “the concordant testimonies from 41 Cardinals, 52 bishops and 45 apostolic nuncios”

I know several gay men. Which ones are deep seated gay? So does this mean you can be gay, just not gay gay? Lol.

So a seated tendency is ok but the deep one isn’t? What is the scale used to see what the tendency is and if it is ok for the priesthood?
 
The Holy father has a scale of gayness? This is getting ridiculous!!!

Why on earth would we ASSUME such a thing? Especially when far less than 10% of all people are gay??

I read long ago, however, that we now have gay clergy because the Catholic Church buckled to society demands of ‘don’t discriminate’ and ‘it doesn’t matter if they’re celibate anyway.’ So really, it was damned if you do, damned if you don’t. They were either going to be branded as anti-gay discriminating bigots for not letting in gay men or accused of hypocrisy for letting in gay men.

I would strongly recommend reading Infiltration by Taylor Marshall about how the Church has been under attack from within for decades.
 
But it’s all in Genesis, when God made the first humans. Why is today’s culture In need to ask the question when it is there in the oldest cultures?

Man and woman he created they, in his own image. What is so hard to understand about that?

Since French Revolution there has been growing movement of hyper individualism , rejection of all authority, including Church, and for last 250 years it’s been like a train steadily building up speed until now it’s going full speed and going fully off the tracks. St Augustine said Latin of sin is “curved in on oneself” so what we have in 2019 is each person saying “I have my own little world and in my little world, what I’m doing is not a sin so who cares what Church says”

I’ve seen estimates that the Spanish Inquisition killed over twenty million people.
Of course the total population of Spain at the time of the Inquisition was well under ten million.
So the inquisition killed every man, woman and child in Spain, imported people from the rest of Europe to replace them, then killed them all again.
A total of four times.
Then imported people once again to replace the loss.

In short I doubt these estimates have any relationship to the truth.
