Hello MHalsey, just an observation here,
I don’t know if I would have worded it that way, oh, that’s right, that’s why I didn’t word it that way, interesting
spin though. (not in a negative way, just your take on things)
There are a lot of Catholics out there who are good Catholics and don’t know or need to know what the “magisterium” is or does, or even what it means, athough I know many Catholics do.
One does not need to be “smart”, use big words, or know everything there is to know about the Catholic Faith to follow Christ and be a good “practicing” Catholic.
If we did, I’d be in big trouble; we would all be in big trouble. There isn’t enough time in our lifetimes to learn everything there is to learn about Catholicism, it is a very “rich” religious faith, rich in history, art, famous written works, Saints lives, martyres etc…:bounce:
Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean that I am going to stop trying to learn and experience as much as I can. I love the richness of my Roman Catholic Faith.
