Post 58 has like how many topics? Give me a specific topic. Specific.

Here is what #33 said…What is in post 33? You are worse than Hillary, I am asking a simple question. What do you want me to discuss? Post 33 gives bogus quotes from Ignatius, which I already said I cannot post the rebuttal to because I have infractions against posting certain websites.
Get specific or quit wasting my time. Name the topic. Get specific.
Start with your claim that the Catholic Church is not the church of the Bible. The writings of all the early Christians support the Church’s claim, not yours. Can you show ANY EVIDENCE to the contrary?
MannyThe Churches of Revelation are the earliest church.
Manny…one hour ago…They are also Catholic.
Which way do you want to have it?That’s not even referring to the Catholic Church. Oh, please. You expect me to believe your flawed interpretation of Revelation 2?
Don’t make me laugh!

IN…WHAT…AREA…you have to pick a topic, why do you refuse to do that…you want me to talk about every area we disagree? Are you serious? You cannot be serious. PICK a topic. Here is what #33 said…

That means one area of contention.
A single thing.
Not the entire catalog of differences between us.
PICK a topic.
Not that it matters of course. The only thing that matters is what is infallible and innerant, the Bible. But still I can clearly show you lots of examples of early Christian writers who disagree with present doctrine…thanks to a handy email from another poster!
According to the Catholic Church, Peter is the first Pope. He is buried in St. Peter Basilicia.Which way do you want to have it?

In English it looks like this:
“ekklesia kath olos”
Blue is the word Catholic in Greek.
So…you contend it should read…Then had the churches rest Catholic Judaea and Galilee?Act 9:31 ¶ Then had the churches rest **throughout all **Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Fallen that is none sense. If you have not benn informed, the Orthodox and the Catholic have come into agreement already on the issue papacy but did not have an agreement whether now much he had authority.I notice you have nothing to say about the condition of the church in Revelation. It was not united and had fallen into error in many places already.

What does that have to do with Revelation?
Second, I don’t see a disunity as your claim there to be. There is none. There will always been individuals who don’t agree. Even the Early Christians did not agree that Revelation is inspired.
I’m sure the Orthodox feel the same way. No disrespect, but if any group would have to give up certain beliefs, it would be our church. Given the recent changes to the Mass and certain other liturgical things, I would say that our church would. The only other thing they could do would be to use broad statements, but that would cause the Orthodox to be just as confused as we Eastern Catholics are about what to believe…I would be concerned that we would have to comprmise on the truth in order to accomplish this. The universal jurisdiction and infallibility of the Pope, as well as the IC, and the filioque, could find themselves thrown to the side. Very problematic. I don’t think communion between the Churches can be established until the EOs accept these truths.
I would be delighted to see union between the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. However, this union will have to be based completely on the Holy Tradition of Orthodoxy. Even if the Pope could convince us that the doctrines of the Latin Church are the same as those of Orthodoxy, there would still be the problem coming from the many liberals and modernists in the Latin Church. We don’t need, nor do we want, people in Orthodoxy who desire to “update” our traditions, for such people aren’t truly Orthodox. Many Roman Catholics could care less about the small traditions that made up their Faith until only around 50 years ago. This is a major stumbling block for unity. Earlier in this thread, you made a deprecatory remark about the SSPX. However, as regards their defense of the principle of respect for tradition, they are very close to us. Your Church needs to recapture their sense of zealous preservation of tradition before unity will occur. In short, you need to convince us that your doctrine is truly Orthodox and that you share with us a love for traditional expressions of Faith before we can have a lasting foundation for unity. Once this foundation is laid, we can help the Latin Church return fully to her Orthodox heritage, and subsequently be in complete unity with each other.Scenario: Suppose the Patriarchs of all Eastern Orthodox, the Bishops in the Catholic Church, and the Pope form a Synod and come into agreement and resolve theological differences, how would you feel about it?
I actually agree with you. Praise God I found a very orthodox, traditional parish with orthodox, traditional teaching! People around the area are flocking to it. I don’t think your opinions are lost on all Catholics. People need to be woken from the post VII fog.I would be delighted to see union between the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. I meant orthodox Roman Catholic. I hope you are still excited.God bless!
Yes it is very important to search for the right parish and a good confessor - there are only a few today ! But where true Orthodoxy is there is God. May God protect us not to follow modernists and innovaters who try to destroy orthodoxy.
