Yes they can.
Is the bible our rule of faith in matters of Faith and Morals? Certainly. We must therefore know the exact books that should be included in the bible, right? Before we can say, the what are the contents or teachings in those books right?

Nobody here denies Jesus is a man. Jesus is true man. But he is also true God. When you quote the Bible referring to Jesus as “this man” we have no problem with it because he is indeed man.
You will not find “Jesus said, ‘I am God’” in the Bible. You will not find the word “Trinity” in the Bible. But denying a belief because it doesn’t appear letra-por-letra is poor exegesis and demonstrates an inability or unwillingness to use simple reason and logic.
We believe Jesus is also God because he claimed to be God and accepted worship as God. If he wasn’t God then Jesus was a liar and a blasphemer, and you shouldn’t even name your church after him.
Jesus accepted worship as God. He claimed God’s name for himself. Is Jesus a liar?
You never answered the theological questons posed to you.

One thing though. Please don’t take offense. May I suggest that you make your posts english? We may understand the things that you say but what about the non-Filipinos here in CAF? They wanna understand what we are talkin about too… Right?

The problem new era, is that nowhere in John 8:40 does it say Jesus is NOT God. It merely states that Jesus is likewise a man. If I tell you I’m French, does it mean I’m not a human being? Only a fool would say this proves Jesus is only a man and not God!
Secondly, if you would only read the entire 17th chapter of John instead of taking isolated verses from the same, you would see that Jesus is simply acknowledging that the Father is truly God. Take note of the other passages in the same chapter (17), especially the highlighted ones:
“After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: ‘Father, the time has come. Glorify YOUR SON, that YOUR SON MAY GLORIFY YOU. For you granted him authority over all people THAT HE MIGHT GIVE ETERNAL LIFE TO ALL THOSE YOU HAVE GIVEN HIM. Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I HAD WITH YOU BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN … For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me … All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come TO ME through them. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. We can, therefore from a reading of the Chapter make the following conclusions:
- Jesus is the Son of God
- Jesus already existed long before the creation of the world.
- The Father loved Jesus before the creation of the world.
4.Can a mere man say that everything the Father has is his? Certainly not, which means Jesus in not just a mere man but is divine as well.

Actually, Pinoy Katoliko was asking newera as to where in the NT does it say that the NT should have 27 books rather than 100 or 50.
In any case, I fully agree we should post in English since it is understood by Filipinos and non-filipinos alike.

Well all your verses posted are right … but your understanding and self conclusion is not right. You need to have a good research or watch more debate (with other religion specially the Iglesia Ni Cristo)regarding the verses you use… those are obsolete, answered many times in our shows. Arguments you use are not powerful. Better watch our shows…

Pretty Childish? Wow … I thought Christ name was so important to you… but now… I think you don’t even know really how important Christ name is… that’s because maybe the word Christ is not found in religion…
They seem to exist anywhere there are sizable numbers of ex-patriate Filipinos. I’ve seen their church buildings (usually very elaborate versions of Catholic churches) in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Phoenix. They like to brag “If we build a beautiful church, the people will come.” Actually the Churches here in USA are not the same in Philippines… but most of the Churches here are from other denominations, we just purchase their churches.Because nobody wants to go to their churches anymore.

While I understand that you cannot tell much about thier beliefs since you are not a minister could you maybe post a link to an INC website to help you defend the doctrine. Many people hear seem to have a bad opinion of the show because the ministers seem to be hate filled toward members of other churches.
It then points out mentioned glory about other people in the Bible. Now this would be a good defense if it simply said he had glory, but it says the glory he had with the Father BEFORE the world was. Therefore he existed with the Father before the world was.
Now I have no idea if that site gives the right verses for all of INCs doctrine. I can’t remember all thier defenses of each select verse and can’t seem to find any of the Pasugos.

Correct. They took the term “glory” in isolation and violently tore it from the rest of the passage, that Jesus had that glory** with** the Father prior to the creation. The phrase “before the world was” clearly proves that Jesus already existed before the creation of the world, meaning the entire universe. There is simply no way to read the whole passage any other way, or to escape its obvious implications, that Christ is likewise God.
