hello all,i used to have an inc bf for 5 years.almost on adaily basis we fought about differences in our faith.i’ve been with him to several inc chapels/churches.we parted after he got incarcerated for duping people.i’ve met active,ex,inactive inc members.the active ones were all ill tempered;the inactive i.e. disillusioned about their faith were kindhearted, the ex members have more peace in their lives.i could write books about my experiences( first and second hand) with inc members.theyre all vindictives! you cannot win against them in a debate.if you do,they may find ways to harm you.they just dont have love in their hearts for those people who do not share their faith.they only have hatred and very deep!!! their brains are being feed with evil thoughts even at the very young age.so what comes out from their mouth are just negative stuff, as well.my acquaintance’s brother was brutally murdered by inc members.it was just a petty quarrel.remember the sta ana massacre, where the inc pastor? and his members burned to death five catholic youths, after being defeated from a basketball game.these are just prime examples of what they can do to you,if they think you offended them.i have lots of true stories to tell, but dont have time right now to divulge them.before i terminate this post,i have a question for any inc member on this board.why is it that the very best friends of the manalos, deceased and living have not converted to your faith e.g. the marcoses, estradas, lacsons, asistios et al.i would like to hear your answer.also,if united nation members discuss about christianity, what comes first to their mind.do you think it is inc???nope, they dont even know its existence!
Now I think I know why 1 of their members seemed different the time I saw him after questioning his church’s beliefs.

An old friend of mine went to the same church that was brought up in here, from San Jose. I remember some years back he said there was some new preachers talking about you can’t even drive your car a certain way & it sounded like a cult. Now it’s hard to believe some things this man has told me, but this church definately seems cultish. I used to attend business meetings where I was pretty much the only non-Filipino a lot of times, then I found out a lot of them belonged to this church.

1 of those Filipinos handed me a paper that was supposed to be the beliefs of the Knights of Columbus & he said it was something few have ever got to see, but part of it looked like it didn’t belong on there. Well I looked up the part that didn’t seem to belong on there & sure enough it was really from some where else. Even though he didn’t tell me my church was bad, he was saying that the Knights of Columbus made this sick sounding quote & I believe this is 1 of the ways they would try to get someone to convert. Now I don’t know if this was the man who made up this lie, but obviously someone did this for some strange reason & I think that possibly this church is getting rich off of the brainwashed.

INC is notorious for that. they’re whole religion is based on proving that Catholicism is wrong and evil.

they have a monthly “magazine” which provides official teachings to its members. half of what is taught looks and analyzes why the Catholic Church is wrong and evil

and then they claim to be the one true faith. how can you be the true faith when you do not have any truths of your own? the whole religioin is based on saying other religions is wrong, not because they have their own truths that can stand alone

even how INC was founded. Felix Manalo started out as a Catholic and then bounced around several other Protestant faiths including SDAs before finally saying all those religions were wrong and were evil, and he put up his own. so from the foundation itself, its founded by trying to prove all other religions wrong, instead of coming up with its own truths

No truths of their own & they even make up lies. WOW They don’t even sound Christian beside that. How can anyone tihnk they’re Christian in a church like this?

They seem like the more widespread if not as large Jehovah Witnesses to me. The exception being they don’t go door to door or use a single Bible translation. As to how an example.

My nephew a 16 year old admission to University of California Berklee is the son of a Nation of Islam Minister Muhammed. Because of their racial theories he gets more how could he believe questions then you, I, and any INC member put together can get. In the end its a matter of faith as any one from Issac Asminoz to Richard Dawkins to the Pope can make their case convincingly.

In my opinion the INC is so big because of Pinoy Pride. Like the Nation of Islam got its start because self professing Christians enforced Jim Crow on Blacks the INC took something in the Bible saying “east” and said it meant Filipinos are the new chosen ones. Like the NOI with White Americans the INC had first Spain then the USA making the political climate ripe for their message.

are you Filipino as well?

i’ve never seen Pinoy Pride as being the reason why INC became so widespread in the Philippines and among Filipinos. Pinoys aren’t just nationalistic in that sense

i think that INC is successful in the Philippines because the Catholic hierarchy in the Philippines was established by Spain during its occupancy of the Philippines as its colony. there have been many abuses by Spain and some of these abuses were done by the clergy. in fact, the most famous novel is written by our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, talks about the faults of the Spanish government and one of the main bad guys is a Spanish friar who fathered a beautiful young woman with the wife of one of his most loyal and generous parishoner.

now, given this negative image the Church in the Philippines has since the time of the Spanish, its easy to lure people into a faith that reinforces this image.

also, Catholicism is the major religion in the Philippines, 85% of the people are Catholics (how many are actually practicing is another debate). Catholic practices are intertwined with the culture and nitpicking on these practices are hobbies of anti-Catholics who hope to lure these people from their faith. this is why INC is staunchly anti-Catholic and picks on every Catholic practices and reasons how wrong and evil it is, so that the poorly catachized Catholic will move to their religion instead

i’ve never seen people join the INC because of Pinoy pride. although i’m not sure if thats the case in other countries, but it certainly isn’t in the Philippines

My wife is from Manila. I think I may have misused “Pinoy Pride” for nationalism leading to INC growth

This is a claim made by the INC in another forum that I’m in; it’s surprising how the INC comes up with these things each day:
Again the ONE SHEPHERD in John 10:16 is bro Felix Y. Manalo.
Is there anyone here who would like to prove that he is not?
It’s sad that they not only see Jesus as mere man; now they are even usurping the very role of Christ for Felix Manalo.

The election in the Philippines will be on May 10, 2010. I’m sure that the influential religious group, Iglesia ni Cristo, will endorse candidates again. This “command vote” is considered a vote that could determine the fate of a candidate. 😦

Let’s help those people who belong to Iglesia ni Cristo that they might realise what their Church really thaught.

Send this to their e mail.

Let’s not criticise them but rather help them to come back to the TRUE Church of Christ, the Church who existed since the first century, THE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.
when it comes to friends who belongs to INC, I respect their religion or belief even if I think that it’s not the true church.

It’s their freedom of choice and that’s my way of respecting their individuality. I would also want to be treated that way.

I agree. It’s also because a lot of Catholics are worshiping saints more than Christ. Instead of treating saints as inspiration and helper for them to be near Christ, they replace Christ with these saints. This is one of the flaws of Catholics that the church have not corrected; some even condone this.
